first wish you sucess in your educational endeavor yes GT is a beautiful campus in midtown where its located is a very upscale part of town and fun night life also atlanta in general is like 5 cities in one u should never be bored jump on the rail line marta. you got midtown, downtown, buckhead, perimeter, and cobb county, its fun to ride the train all the major stops are there anyway have fun learning .

I did look into Spelman but I don't think it would be a good match for me. I wanted a big university vibe where I could have tons of major choices and opportunities. Spelman is a great college definitely! I feel like I would have to visit to get a vibe for it.

How was the area surrounding the school? What was the vibe around campus?
Tech is in a very nice and safe area of Atlanta, you don't feel as though you are in the city even though you are right near down town. Vibe was very calming, a lot of students studying and such. Also day or two before break so not a lot of activities going on when we were there. I know people love tech football and the ideology of the campus is innovation and emphasis on math and sciences. For example, calculus is in the gen Ed requirements. Hope this helps!
