If you get in to Stanford and can't afford it, everything is free, including room and board. In fact if your parents have a family of 4 and make $120k or less per year, you don't pay tuition. They have $36.5 billion endowment. So, aim high and don't worry about not being able to afford it. All of the top universities have endowment and provide scholarships.

I feel so overwhelmed with these following universities because I really like the facilities, and the benefits are very far from my school. Not a single dust when I compare it, and I feel sorrow since I'm taking my college to a low school. and the facilities are, nahh!! Why none of Chinese Universities not in the top 10? China leads in research in 37 out of 44 crucial and emerging technologies including AI, defense and quantum tech areas.
This ranking is garbage. Just trying to sell the western universities. Isn’t Peking, Tsinghua, Shanghai etc better than NUS ( Singapore is a small country, small economy relatively).
Check Education background of those Chinese researchers and professors,got educated either in UK or USA.
After climbing the heights, they simply move back to China and join their research institutions.
