As far as I know the security screw driver bit is under license and is VERY hard to find! I modified a GameBit (SNES and GameGear) screwdriver bit to fit! Dremels have their uses!! Sorry not sure what you mean by rubbers?

Hi you can buy the digital triggers but if the controller never had them to begin with you won't be able to fit them because Scuf use a custom back stop to mod the controllers. I have the switches for sale but are mainly for people who repair controllers or confident people who already have a digital trigger that is broken.

Hi. You can get them from eBay AliExpress Amazon. Make sure you get the correct ones as.there are subtile difference's between the controllers. This one.was.a jdm-055 you can find out.from looking on the main board.

If you have an old broken Controller u can deploy that rubber silicone from it in the new one, and if it doesn't match than just cut it to size. :D i hope i could help

The reason for no click on Scuf digital triggers can be from wear or physical shock (rage quit). Usually the trigger becomes dislodged or the plastic part is broken and needs to be replaced. My kids scuf R2 trigger is slow to return to its normal position... took it apart and discovered that the spring was broken. Tried to swap it with a spring from a regular PS4 controller but they are a different size... scuff springs are longer and have a slightly larger diameter. Hi, sounds like the hinge is worn out. Do you have adjustable triggers? If so the plastic SCUF use for the triggers wears out the hinge on the inner chassis. We replace the inner chassis to make it function properly. There are two types of springs for PS4 controllers. SCUF only trans plant PS4 guts into new shells. So will most likely be one of the newer springs for the jdm-040, 050 or 055 controller.

Good question and not easy to answer. I've spent atlease £2000 on duff junk parts over the last 7 years or so. You have to find a reliable honest supplier. These parts are available on mouser / digikey but Sony and Microsoft do subtle changes like the height on the plastic base of the analog stick or change the force of a micro switch. It take alot of experimentation to find the correct or very neer. Correct parts.
Hi, SCUF use regular PS4 controllers in side and just put them in a fancy shell and mod board. So you need to look on the main board for a JDM-0xx number should be 01, 20, 40, 50 e.g JDM-040 ect.. You need to buy the rubber contacts for that model. When you find out that info contact us through the website we can sell you a new set.

So my boyfriend's controller has some special feature for his controller where it's hard to press down on, it just slightly clicks when you press the right trigger, but he dropped his and now the trigger presses all the way down/in. Is this the same fix or is there something additional required?
Sounds a very similar issue. The SCUF PS4 digital triggers are prone to push the back stop out of the mount and cause the trigger to depress all the way in.

So I opened my scuf to fix my L2 button. Now when I close it my R2 button stops working. All buttons work while the controller is open. But as soon as I close it something triggers my R2 botton and shortly after it stops working. Any ideas why?

Yeah these SCUF security screws are difficult to get a bit to fit. They are a special type used for Cable TV engineers and are only sold under license. I'd love to get hold of one myself! The only wayis to use precision side cutters to grip the screw and undo it. On the SCUF Impact the screw is recessed far down into the shell and those I have to drill out and replace with a normal PS4 screw.

If it's not the rubber.. then I would look at the button flex specialy where it connect to the PCB. Some IPA and qtip for a quick fix. If now contact us and we'll see if we can help.

@@aliramcilovic4670 if it doesn't make the click sound u need a new smart trigger at least on the r2 cuz if it doesn't click then the smart trigger which the r2 trigger is pressing on broke off inside so just remove the cables carefully buy a new smart trigger (not expensive at all), put it back under the r2 trigger and solder the cables with the circuit board and the smart trigger back together, should work.

Good question, If you find it please tell me. This isn't the same one that NES / SNES / N64 or Sega Game Gear use as those consoles use a 6 point bit where as Scuf use a 5 point bit used for Telecomms equipment. Hard to find!
I used a very small slot screwdriver, wedged it into one of the grooves of the security screw and with some (lots) of pressure and repetition, I was able to loosen it enough to get it out with my fingers.
My Vantage2 is having an issue where L1 needs to be held down with painful pressure to consistently work and looking at this it sounds like replacing the rubber contacts might be the way to go. Can you buy those from Scuff? I can send them out for repair but since Scuff won't cover any of the cost I'd rather do it myself.

Hey man, so I have the newer scuf impact model and when I was adjusting my trigger stoppers I twisted the key way to far and now my triggers don’t seem to return and it’s mad weird, any ideas on how I could fix it??
You may have crushed the rubber contact behind the trigger. Those adjustment only need 1/4 turn to make a big difference! Try unscrewing it till the screw is flush witht he plastic.
@@orksses4093 If it's for the security screw you mean, I'm using side cutters to grip it. The security screw Scuf use is an odd one. Not the same as "Game Bit" (NES/SNES or GameGear).

Not sure what you mean? If the trigger is a SCUF digital tigger but moves all the way in than migh that means the plastic peice inside is bent over the top of the swich. Simple fix. Usually happens from pressing to hard on the trigger.
These Scuf controllers have the same internals as regular PS4 controllers just the shells are different. Make sure it's from the same type of controller. Look on the main board for a number like JDM-055. Buy the contacts for that model.

Yes, the securty screw is a bad one. There is no where that sells the screwdriver bit. You have to get creative! Either you need to find something to grab it and twist it out or drill it out. Both methods usually end up with marking the plastic.

Hey man a little late in here lol. My R2 button works and it doesn’t like it clicks like a mouse still and reacts but sometimes it just doesn’t shoot like there’s times it pauses and it doesn’t react to the clicking. Does that mean i need to replace the rubber or it could just be out of place ?

How do I fix the analogue sticks not working. The controllers buttons and paddles work and U can hook it up all good. But the sticks don't process.

I don't think Scuf sell them, if they are broke you will have to go back to original PS4 triggers.

Is this wired or wireless? Could be the button flex wearing out.
My R1 won't work at all anymore. The problem is the plastic key the connect and recognizes the action seems to be in too deep or so
Hard to advice with out seeing it. If the button and chassis isn't broken it could just be the rubber contacts or the button flex than need replacing.

The Scuf ribbon cable can be damaged. This can be fixed buy running a wire. If your in the UK please see our site in the description.

Good question, If you find it please tell me. This isn't the same one that NES / SNES / N64 or Sega Game Gear use as those consoles use a 6 point bit where as Scuf use a 5 point bit used for Telecomms equipment. Hard to find!
I used a very small slot screwdriver, wedged it into one of the grooves of the security screw and with some (lots) of pressure and repetition, I was able to loosen it enough to get it out with my fingers.

My Vantage2 is having an issue where L1 needs to be held down with painful pressure to consistently work and looking at this it sounds like replacing the rubber contacts might be the way to go. Can you buy those from Scuff? I can send them out for repair but since Scuff won't cover any of the cost I'd rather do it myself.
You should be able to buy them from eBay or Amazon.

Which type of screwdriver do you use for scuf controllers ?
I've modded a gamebit screwdriver to fit the security screw. It's not perfect but getis it out without marking the shell.
Hey man, so I have the newer scuf impact model and when I was adjusting my trigger stoppers I twisted the key way to far and now my triggers don’t seem to return and it’s mad weird, any ideas on how I could fix it??
You may have crushed the rubber contact behind the trigger. Those adjustment only need 1/4 turn to make a big difference! Try unscrewing it till the screw is flush witht he plastic.

Just use a decent screw driver. They arn't in all that tight.

@@orksses4093 If it's for the security screw you mean, I'm using side cutters to grip it. The security screw Scuf use is an odd one. Not the same as "Game Bit" (NES/SNES or GameGear).

I would guess it's the button flex it at fault. Cleaning the rubber contact could also get you out of a jam.

Not sure what you mean? If the trigger is a SCUF digital tigger but moves all the way in than migh that means the plastic peice inside is bent over the top of the swich. Simple fix. Usually happens from pressing to hard on the trigger.
Also they both don’t register.

Hey, I am having the same issue with my Scuf Infinity 4ps Pro as well, do you think a Dualshock V1 RUBBER CONTACT would fix it the way you did it ?
These Scuf controllers have the same internals as regular PS4 controllers just the shells are different. Make sure it's from the same type of controller. Look on the main board for a number like JDM-055. Buy the contacts for that model.

Yes, the securty screw is a bad one. There is no where that sells the screwdriver bit. You have to get creative! Either you need to find something to grab it and twist it out or drill it out. Both methods usually end up with marking the plastic.

Very common issue. We repair the R2 all the time. Digital or standard.
Hey man a little late in here lol. My R2 button works and it doesn’t like it clicks like a mouse still and reacts but sometimes it just doesn’t shoot like there’s times it pauses and it doesn’t react to the clicking. Does that mean i need to replace the rubber or it could just be out of place ?
Could be out of place if it's a standard R2 or it could need a new switch if it's a digital tap trigger.

It's should do as long as the triggers are still analog. If they are "clicky" then no because they have been replaced with micro switches.
