That play at 4:56 , OSU's #4 couldve easily de-cleated and made a highlight play out of WKU's #3 but he smartly let up on the play.

Go Buckeyes I get to see them beat Western Kentucky for the first time so I get to mark something else off my bucket list ask for the committee I'm not very happy with them they've dropped Ohio state twice this season now they should have went up a couple of rankings last week when Alabama got beat by Texas and Ohio State should at least go up one spot with that dominant win over Western Kentucky got a huge game coming up next Saturday night against the Irish on the road it's not going to be easy playing against Notre Dame this is a true test for Kyle McCord and company

It's instinctual. Everyone who's played runningback has done it one time or another. From peewee football to the NFL. It's a risk/reward move. But, it's no more dangerous than anything else when playing football.

Why do small schools embarrass their players scheduling games like this?
Money.
The smaller schools get paid a decent amount to come travel or to host against teams like OSU, Alabama, and Georgia. It's mainly an incentive and another cash flow for these schools. Also can allow some decent exposure for up-and-coming players from these teams who may have potential draft stock.
1) the money but 2) that is not always the case. This year Texas State beat Baylor and Wyoming beat Texas Tech. Some of these small schools come to play.
You do know Kentucky has an excellent offense right… people are sleeping on them but since 2020 they have only been beatin by one offense. The OHIO state…

I am an OSU fan a Alum. i think Knowles is easily out schemed but has been saved this year by weak opponents. ND has skilled offensive players and would think that their OL should handle the OSU DL next week. I hope that I am wrong.

I disagree. Knowles is the real deal, he's the rare coach who can get players to play their best for him. He doesn't blame the players for mistakes, he takes the blame because he says it's his fault if they aren't ready and able to play at their best. He's a smart standup guy who guys love to play for. He was fantastic at Oklahoma St. He had to gamble a lot due to his players being 2 and 3 stars but realized he didn't need to do that with the talent at OSU so over the winter he analyzed, adapted and changed his philosophy. That is what a brilliant mind does. He isn't egotistical or arrogant. Big time defensive studs should be lining up to play for him.

Overrated Notre Dame I don't think so this team will wind up losing three games as usual
Players like Tommy Eichenberg, Denzel Burke, JT Tuimoloau, Hall, Ransom seemed better every year. Plus we saw flashes of great plays by 2nd/3rd string players especially in this game. I think they will do just fine, but time will tell.
