at first live watch, i thought McCord was bad. After rewatching, he actually wasnt that bad. Pretty decent actually. Once the line starts playing better and he gets the timing down with WR's, i think we will be fine.

I said the same thing and everyone laughed at me. He was calm in the pocket, ran well when he had to, threw some accurate bullets, and his worst throws weren't his fault like having to throw on 4th down when his #1 receiver fell down.
We all know our offense isn't scoring 44 ppg this year, so our defense will have to win a couple games and they looked good. I don't remember any pi penalties and no long plays for td's, I see an improvement but, only first game. GO BUCKS!
The offense will get rolling. Gonna take a couple weeks with all those new pieces. We did have a couple stupid penalties on defense but we were being aggressive. Get that in check and the defense will be golden. Wanna see a bit more pressure on the qb from the defensive line.

McCord is a$$ and the OL has had some really bad coaching missing blocks and blitz pickups a HS OL would easily catch. This team will lose MINIMUM 3 games with McCord as QB. Sad they will waste all that talent at the skill positions because no one can get them the ball.
This team Saturday looks like the herbstreit teams in the late 80's early 90's. McCord is either really really really bad or the offensive line is putrid. Thinking maybe a combo of both. Gonna be a long a** season.

how many top teams started the season with a conference opponent? georgia played ut martin (fcs), michigan played east carolina butt pirates, alabama played middle tennessee state. ohio state played another big ten team. that matters. lsu and florida state played each other, so respect to them. of the top 10 teams, only ohio state and clemson played a conference opponent, ohio state won, clemson lost.

It’s the first game of the season, on the road, conference game, and they won by basically 3 touchdowns! Defense looked great, o line needs work. The roster is still loaded with talent. Quit being dramatic

Indiana was #111 last season and have gotten worse, they'll be lucky to win 5 games.
But that was when they dominated the big 10 and michigan namely. Lose a game before michigan and it's all over.
