I grew up watching Suzanne perform at NYCB, and I studied at Dance Theatre of Harlem and was taught sometimes there by one of her major partners, Arthur Mitchell! I feel so privileged that I got to see her performing at NYCB w/ Peter Martins. There just can't be (won't be) another like her...that daring, that musicality and risk...if you like this vid, you should watch the documentary "SUZANNE FARRELL: ELUSIVE MUSE"!!
So wonderful to see this interview, thank you. She is a living Legend. Love you Suzanne Farrell. Curiously the only time I saw her dance was when she was with Béjart, she had an incredible stage presence.
So much to impart. Thank you for the memorable moments from your impressive dancing. There were wonderful dancers but I mainly bought tickets when she was in the program so I went a lot. Every time I saw her in ballets like Symphony in C or Concerto Barocco or Tchaikovsky pas or so many others, she lit up the theater. I became more impressed as there were more subtleties I noticed. I was overjoyed when she returned from Bejart.
It's wonderful to have Suzanne Farrell. She always speaks so interestingly. She's so genuine.

and Suzanne Farrell was essential to the birth and popularity of classical ballet. She is The Queen to Balanchine!

John Clifford and Suzanne Farrell should be an official part of N.Y.C.B. teaching and coaching.

I see that you have many videos on your channel. But your videos are not ranking. The number of viewers on the videos is very low.
The videos on their instagram account perform much better
But aesha ash teaches at sab and has a big title but Suzanne doesn't have a job there. Or gelsey Kirkland. Or merril Ashley. Doesn't make sense.
Thank you for pointing this out.
Merril coaches for the Balanchine trust. Gelsey has a school of her own
