This was almost a love song from Toby Keith to his fellow Americans during a time we all felt so desolate and scared after 9/11. I promise you... it WAS a threat until it was a reality. Toby passed away recently and he never forgot 9/11. He also never forgot our military soldiers. He almost became the unofficial military spokesperson. 9/11 was a challenging day for all of us here: it took a while for us to really 'handle' our anger ("the Angry American") but when we did, we made sure to tell the world what happens when we are attacked. They hoped to break us when they did what they did that day, but as President Bush said on the very evening of 9/11--- they have failed. And they did: the only thing they really did was make us stronger, angrier, and meaner. That evening, President Bush said we'll make no distinction between those who attacked us, and the people who harbor them. We made good on that promise. Toby did too.. he dedicated his career to the military after that. Some of his final performances even featured real-life military reunion surprises. RIP Toby, a TRUE American patriot and unapologetic friend of the US Military!
This song always give me the chills as I enlisted in the Army reserves shortly after 9/11 and served alongside some very patriotic New Yorkers who were first responders at the scene after the towers fell. He was absolutely wrong. It was the perfect line & the perfect song & Toby should have been allowed to sing it at the celebration. We Americans needed to hear it at that time.

My husband and I met while we were in the military. Our families have served in almost every conflict from the Revolution. Damn Proud to be an American.
I grew up in Texas with 50 years of southern hospitality. People helped each other and people were friendly. We had to move out of Texas cause my 13 year old daughter got Long Covid in 2020 and we went on the news to warn people. Suddenly we were the enemy. People thought we were trying to scare people into masks and vaccines. We received death threats and even our own family turned on us. My daughter's lifelong friends turned on her. We just wanted to save kids. The funny thing is...we never discussed politics with anyone but people labeled us anyway. It's America against America now....even down to family members against family members. Covid changed everything I loved about Texas. My daughter is still suffering from complications after 4 years at 17 years old now and my family and our old friends haven't called to check on us...because we believe in Covid. So stupid. I miss the old days. This song is beautiful. Thank you for reacting to it. ❤ (Btw, my husband is British and I'm American and we relate to your channel so much and have fun watching it.) 😁
Sadly, Toby passed in February 2024. He has a ton of hits & is a GOAT of country. Literally the 3rd richest country entertainer in the world. His song 'American soldier' is another amazing patriotic one, with less aggression. LOL He is also known for his humor & his videos are legendary. "As good as I once was', 'Trailerhood', 'How do you like me now?', 'Red solo cup' & so many more funny ones. His duet with Willie Nelson 'Beer for my horses' has a video like a mini movie. It's great too. Always go for his videos. If you want to cry, his tribute to his friend 'Cryin' for me, Wayman's song' is just beautiful. Toby had many sides & I am grateful he left such a rich legacy of music for us to enjoy.

So there's a singer called Trace Adkins and yes he is extremely famous, he sings a song called " till the last shots fired" and oh my God if it's not a tearjerker nothing is, it is one of the greatest songs ever sang and when he does it with the Marine corps choir, oh my God oh my god, oh my God. We miss you Toby!!!! Thank you for leaving your heart for us through your music ❤
RIP Toby Keith. You were a true Patiot! God bless the USA!🇺🇸
❤ (Btw, my husband is British and I'm American and we relate to your channel so much and have fun watching it.) 😁
That came out after 911. Toby Keith is a great country and western singer.from Oklahoma. He recently died from cancer!
Great song, great reaction. We really needed this one after 9/11. Toby Keith was a patriot who loved the military. RIP Toby 💚
To my cousin across the pond... Thank you for paying tribute to one of America's great singers... and to our soldiers... who we honor every time we honor our flag. Again, thank-you!
Toby Keith, True Blue American! I don't know what else to say except to repeat those of others who say RIP Toby Keith. god bless you man!
@MoreAdamCouser great reaction. As you’ve been told in previous Toby passed away a few months ago. He had so many serious and so many hilarious songs! He will be & already is missed so much. He was a true Patriot and a Legend. More Toby please! RIP Toby. We love ya man. 😥

I like your style-comments but short, quick, at right times- This song still gives me chills. I just subscribed!!
I still get choked up all these years later every single time I hear this. The late great Toby Keith!
You should react to Toby Keith's song video called " Im not like I Once was"! You would like that video which shows Toby's funny sense of humor! Also "I love this bar" is another favorite video'/song from Toby Keith and is also funny RIP Toby Keith!

There will never be anyone that can replace this man. Rest in Peace
I was privileged to watch Toby Keith perform this in person. He was just dynamic and OMG, the crowd went crazy! RIP, Toby, and thanks for all the wonderful tunes.
Rest in peace Toby Keith. The man was extremely talented country music artist. He has been one of my favorites growing up.
Rest in peace to an absolute fkn legend. The stories I’ve heard about his trips to visit the troops are wild man.
Loved Toby Keith- His voice for me was perfect in every way- Loved his country, loved his family, and loved God-
From an American, always love your reactions!!!!
It’s not a threat.. it love for our nation! And he will forever be missed!!
Adam, we all highly recommend you listen as many of his songs as you can. You can not miss out on his videos of his songs. This man was genius and funny as hell.
That wasn’t a threat, that WAS A GODDAMN PROMISE
Sure, except we didn't go after Saudi Arabi, where the vast majority of those terrorists were from.
Check out "Don't Let the Old Man In". A song he wrote for Clint Eastwood for his 88th birthday. Clint used it in his movie "The Mule". In 2023, Toby used that song in his final live performance. He passed away in February 2024. He did a lot of work with the USO.
As an Army veteran I love this reaction. Love the enthusiasm. Thanks for doing this one!!
Always get chills listening to this song!
I get goose bumps when I hear this song.
I'm not the biggest country music fan, but he has some good stuff. Funny stuff, emotional stuff, but this song is a message, and a DAMN GOOD ONE
Such a beautiful song.
Toby Keith is a great singer and songwriter. Thank you for playing this song. Yes he has more songs.❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤ This song is so brilliant, and beautiful it makes me tear up. 😊 Amazing message.
Toby Keith is from here in Oklahoma. I'm so proud to live in Oklahoma.
Toby Keith was a powerful singer - RIP
“Does he have popular songs” as he’s playing one of if not the most popular 😂😂 rip to the legend
Tony has passed but he will never be forgotten. R I P Tony.
Yeah, you better salute him because he just passed away. And this is one hell of a song that he sang and the whole world loves him, but yes, he's gone, he's an angel in heaven❤❤❤❤
RIP to one of the greats. And an even better person. Toby Keith
Yes, he made this in response to 9/11/2001! FABULOUS reaction!
Americans are a lot like siblings. We fight amongst ourselves over everything - but any attack from outside will bring us together immediately!
I don't think that is true anymore. There is a part of the population that are ignorant, indoctrinated and hate our country. They would actually side with our attackers.
The beginning is true. His father lost an eye serving his country. Yes, he does have popular songs. Lost a good man last February. RIP Toby.
RIP Toby! Your music lives on! You are a LEGEND!
Check out American Soldier
From the USA in the state of Tennessee. I loved your reaction. Toby was a great guy and his music will live forever as will his memory. You got another subscriber
Thanks for reacting to this. Such a good song. I wish your typical American still would appreciate this but unfortunately they do not. Oh well. Best hopes for the future - former active duty U.S. Marine
A coincidence that yesterday I was thinking about wanting to watch some
reactions to this song and here it is. Well, I don't believe in coincidences. Love TK and this song. I was blessed by being able to see him perform it live in Dallas. Rest In Peace Toby, you are sorely missed.
And yes this is in reference to 9 11 he wasn't going to put it out but a colonel told him it was his duty as an American to put this song out and yes it's is a Awesome song🎉🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎉
