    I really wanted to make a watch tower in my village mainly to see friends comming back from long trips out in the longship, So I decided to share what I came up with, this one is quite a tricky build because of alot of the snapping points not really wanting to co-operate, but I hope you enjoy the video, and thank you for watching o/

      I was really struggling with the thatching layout, then I gave up and just snap it on top of the horizontal beam, since it was consisted of 2 2-meters beam, probably not as pretty but boy it was so much easier

    Agreed that the “other methods” for makings stairs are so incredibly time consuming. That being said, it’s nice that you can run up it without jumping. Nice video.

    • @necopozza
      @necopozza 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh man, you managed to do it? I can't seem to run up these stairs without jumping... =(

    • @Doesin
      @Doesin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@necopozza can't I find the video but basically place a vertical beam (I used the basic 2m wood one), attach a horizontal 2m beam to it, delete vertical beam, rotate vertical beam one click and put beam back, hold shift and put a new horizontal beam on the once rotated vertical beam, repeat. I made the horizontal beams as low as possible so you could run up without jumping. If this needs better explaining, let me know. Good luck!

    Color me impressed, done in survival too from the look of it. I see lots of these kinds of things done with console commands, and yeah they do look good, but I can't be that impressed when the person constantly flies around and has no need to grind resources.

    • @ZerosterGuides
      @ZerosterGuides  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm 50/50 on it, I like survival, and always love to see builds made in survival. but I also really think the creativity and grandeur of some of the builds made in creative can be exceptionally impressive.
      I'm glad there are others like me though who really like to see builds made in survival though!

    I have "plan builds" and a few other mods so I ended up just drafting blueprints of various 1f 2f and 3f spiral stairs (the painstaking ones) as well as 1 floor half turn spirals. Now that they'er done i just place them and add the materials and it builds in place. Its a lovely improvment. U can also just blueprint ur finished towers like this to make it WAY less time consuming. Still survival for me as well. its just nice to not have to make it from scratch once i get the build how i like

    hey you could improve the view!, instead of a fence, use a beam using shift key, also you could make the roof 26 degree a little bit higher, making it longer to the outside, it will give a nice view, and not so much restricted camera, good video it helped me a lot
