It started as just crying out to the Lord in partial disbelief if He would answer or even hear me and has come to knowing and discerning that He isn't up in Heaven. I have 3 ruptured disks in my spine, cysts in my groin, and potentially a hernia. I live with my parents and have constantly dealt with my father being a narcissist abusing my mother by beating her and verbally torturing her spirit. Now as an adult my older brother left to the army years ago and hardly talks to any of us and my younger brother is constantly couch surfing at other peoples homes. I’m in the same trade as my father was but an apprentice and my father wants to throw me out on the street but I make more money door dashing and I physically can’t uphold my work duties. Please pray that my father has a change of heart and develops more acceptance towards my family and I.
I understand. You are attacked, you’re struggling. Verbally call upon God to renounce and reject all attacks and evil. Declare in God’s name you are healthy. Speaking from personal experience, I encourage you to repeat this prayer from your perspective. Call upon God’s help to bind and rebuke evil, attacks, sin, and negative thinking. Affirm and declare that you are a child of God, a reflection of love, and declare that you are well. In practical matters, I understand this as well. I don’t want to overstep but if you want company with you, I encourage you to reach out to a smallish church if you don’t have one. You can speak with the pastor and tell him what’s going on. What helped me first years ago was going to the Mormon (I know this is controversial) church website and asking for missionaries to visit with me. I just needed company, and I knew that their intentions were good, and their hearts are seeking God. I am not a follower of the religion, and I don’t believe in their beliefs. But, I have never met more genuine, kind, compassionate, and encouraging people. They came to visit, introduced me to older successful people, took me to their church, and then since I am a man, the men prayed over me in Jesus name. It was incredibly helpful just to have caring people who were expressing their love for me. From there, I visited a Baptist church and joined a small group and was able to start healing.
It doesn't seem quite fair that as a child I had to protect my siblings, navigate my father, watch the literal demise of my mother by my father. Then forgive my father, he passes and then the siblings I protected turned on me because of their narcissism or worse that of their spouses. Therefore all nieces, nephews, and even an uncle and a childhood friend are no longer in my life. I know what narcissisitic abuse is and what flying monkies are. It came to a head when my only daughter got married and then I got cancer. It seems like the more I needed family the more they rallied to be cruel and dismiss me from my own family. The weird thing is thank God I made it through with out any of their support, not even flowers, and I lived within miles. It makes me sad. I moved far away and have no contact. I will check them out on social media and they seem better than ever, never missed me a bit. Doesnt seem right.

The narc is a family member. But the tricky thing is this narc is super helpful when it comes to errands and favours as they are undeniably meticulous and efficient. But seems like the price to pay for their (often unsolicited) "help" is to put up with their narc crap. I have 3 ruptured disks in my spine, cysts in my groin, and potentially a hernia. I live with my parents and have constantly dealt with my father being a narcissist abusing my mother by beating her and verbally torturing her spirit. Now as an adult my older brother left to the army years ago and hardly talks to any of us and my younger brother is constantly couch surfing at other peoples homes. I’m in the same trade as my father was but an apprentice and my father wants to throw me out on the street but I make more money door dashing and I physically can’t uphold my work duties. Please pray that my father has a change of heart and develops more acceptance towards my family and I.

I understand. You are attacked, you’re struggling. Verbally call upon God to renounce and reject all attacks and evil. Declare in God’s name you are healthy. Speaking from personal experience, I encourage you to repeat this prayer from your perspective. Call upon God’s help to bind and rebuke evil, attacks, sin, and negative thinking. Affirm and declare that you are a child of God, a reflection of love, and declare that you are well.
In practical matters, I understand this as well. I don’t want to overstep but if you want company with you, I encourage you to reach out to a smallish church if you don’t have one. You can speak with the pastor and tell him what’s going on.
What helped me first years ago was going to the Mormon (I know this is controversial) church website and asking for missionaries to visit with me. I just needed company, and I knew that their intentions were good, and their hearts are seeking God. I am not a follower of the religion, and I don’t believe in their beliefs. But, I have never met more genuine, kind, compassionate, and encouraging people. They came to visit, introduced me to older successful people, took me to their church, and then since I am a man, the men prayed over me in Jesus name. It was incredibly helpful just to have caring people who were expressing their love for me. From there, I visited a Baptist church and joined a small group and was able to start healing.
I need to listen to these prayers on repeat, in need of them.

It doesn't seem quite fair that as a child I had to protect my siblings, navigate my father, watch the literal demise of my mother by my father. Then forgive my father, he passes and then the siblings I protected turned on me because of their narcissism or worse that of their spouses. Therefore all nieces, nephews, and even an uncle and a childhood friend are no longer in my life. I know what narcissisitic abuse is and what flying monkies are. It came to a head when my only daughter got married and then I got cancer. It seems like the more I needed family the more they rallied to be cruel and dismiss me from my own family. The weird thing is thank God I made it through with out any of their support, not even flowers, and I lived within miles. It makes me sad. I moved far away and have no contact. I will check them out on social media and they seem better than ever, never missed me a bit. Doesnt seem right.

If you don’t have a church, I encourage you to find a smallish one, speak to the women’s leader, join a small group. Maybe they will have home Bible studies, or home church. You are a child of God, declare it, decree it, ask for God to comfort and guide you. Unfortunately we can’t change the past, or change others, but we can turn our thoughts to God to change our hearts and minds.

The narc is a family member. But the tricky thing is this narc is super helpful when it comes to errands and favours as they are undeniably meticulous and efficient. But seems like the price to pay for their (often unsolicited) "help" is to put up with their narc crap. I have moved out but this narc still wants to be part of my life and I really really really want to break free in a good way. Need God to reveal Himself to me and the narc too.
