I live in the desert of West Texas and marvel at the beauty of where you live. I absolutely look forward to every video you release and honestly envy the hell out of you.
Northern Queensland is awesome. Sparsely populated outside of the major towns, and the Great Barrier Reef is readily accessible and easy to go places with no one else. My wife and I currently live in Sydney, Australia - and yeah it is good fishing place, but we are moving to Far North Queensland in the next year or so, so we can live and fish the reef. Pelagic is at Airlie Beach I am pretty sure ( could be wrong) - a small town on the coast and right in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef. An almost "perfect" spot to be located to fish, but house prices there are very, very expensive, and not many place to look at under a million dollars.. We are looking at places from Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, 1770, Rockhampton, Port Douglas, Cairns and all the way up to Cooktown. The only downside is that the further North you go from say Hervey Bay - the worse the rain and humidity gets. And then there is a Cyclone chance further North. But there is plenty of cheapish places to buy, that are fairly close to all amenities, and maybe 30-45 mins from the coast. Northern QLD is like I guess Florida without all the wacko nutcases, MAGA idiots, and over population and guns!. Plus people need to be able to hold boat licences and show they are competent at using a marine vessel.Plus there are very strict laws when fishing etc - Not like being able to use Scuba systems to go spearfishing and collect lobsters/crayfish etc.....the other awesome area is over the other side of Australia in Western Australia - Ningaloo Reef, Coral Bay , the Abrolhos Islands and the towns like Exmouth - where there is both world class offshore and also inshore fishing. But being such a small and isolated town - the house/land prices are astronomical!.

Hey mate how sweet was the arvo glass out and that red shimmer of the nanny's with the sun setting absolute magic 🤙 can I ask what size jig head you are running in the twitch-it and depth of the flats you are fishing bud looks deep to the sand but some of those bodies look just under the surface

Not at all mate. I’m very conscious about the reef and my boat haha I spend a lot of time on them and know when I can travel over the reef and when it’s too shallow to. The colour of certain bombies will determine how shallow they get aswell from sun damage. With good sunnies their easy to pick

1 -4m. Any deeper and you’ll have to sink your lure a fair bit more
