Yep, did it and I noticed an Absolute difference. I'm using the round Sream'in Eagle Breather and C.F.R. Slip-On's. It works. Enjoy your increase in power.
Earlier this season I installed a BT Moto Stage1 tune in my 18' Wing. The tune made a huge improvement, the engine pulls harder from anywhere in the rpm's, on-off throttle is smoothed out, red-line is raised to 6.2K, the top speed limiter is removed(I hate nanny s**t) and "Sport Mode" is for being really bad now 😎
@@painsrides the sport mode on mine is way too jumpy for me to use driving around town. I have made a custom mode. That seems to be getting the most out of the bike.
@@MotoStacy Before the BT Moto tune Sport mode was mostly unusable due to the abrupt on-off throttle.... Now tuned, its still quick but not jerky, it makes the bike feel much more aggressive. I use Tour mode for 95% of my riding, its still got all the balls but its delivered more calmly... Anyway, all of our modern, corked up, EFI bikes benefit greatly from better airflow and a tune...
Thank You. I had it done by Fairing Xchange. They were awesome to work with. Met them in Arkansas and they had it done in like 1 hour. You preorder your fairing and then you meet and they install.
@@lowcountrylowrider8703No sir. Just loaded up the app and plugged it in. Very simple process. I had already updated my ECM right after I got the bike. But you will have to download app, check for updates. Once you plug in the tuner it will require an update also. Then just follow the prompts on the screen.
I have a 23 low rider s. I had the dealer put on my Bassani Stainless pipes (already comes with a high intake air cleaner) but to keep my warranty they said I needed the tuner AND!!! the Screaming Eagle auto tuner. Don't know the numbers but can tell you that in over a year have not had any issues and runs better than stock. Sounds great too!!
@Moto-Stacy Yup. You may get "better" results from a third party but I really don't need more than I'm getting now from this 117 and I still have an intact warranty
I have a 2024 Road Glide that I've already purchased a full exhaust and Extreme Wedge air cleaner for. I was ready to have the parts installed (because I just don't like working on my own bikes and vehicles anymore) and a dyno tune done but think I'll just wait until I buy a cam before I do. I may decide to void my warranty and go with a ThunderMax tuner instead because the performance difference compared to the SE tuner is significant.
Yes, I have heard that with the Thundermax, but I get plenty of torque with the way I have it. I am not going to be racing it. I just do old geaser riding. Don't get me wrong, i do like to get on it every once in a while.
Thanks for the video. 1 Question , where did you get you black bag reflectors. If you have a link please share as i'm struggling to find the correct sized ones
"I haven't had it on a tender in a while".....when I got my '24 RG, the service manager explained the new infotainment sys has a substantial parasitic draw and I should always put it on a 5 amp tender. Several short trips in a row are not recommended as it doesn't give you time to recharge the battery also.
@@MotoStacy He told me short hops like 10 or 15 minutes won't cut it at least a 25-30 minute ride. I also saw a video where it was recommended put the bike in trailer mode to shut down the infotainment system which might help If your bike's in the garage and you don't have a tender.
Can I tune my bike with this tuner? I got a Trask big sexy 2 in 1 exhaust on cvo road glide st. I'm just curious if I can choose different type of third party exhausts.
@@kevinhou489 I assume you can because there were a lot of different configurations in the app. I would double check with your harley dealer just to be on the safe side before spending $500.00 on it.
I don't understand why Harley can't put the SE 511 cam, a free flowing air filter, and freer flowing slipons from the factory. You think they could do that for a $31K bike. Instead, you need to spend another $550 for their highly restricted tuner, $525 for the Extreme Wedge Air Filter, $680 for the 511 Cam Kit, and about $800 for better sounding and better looking slipons. All these things to get another 20-25 hp. The stock cam and restrictive air filter are unforgivable.
