    My dream is to be a stay-at-home mom with some form of part-time career like Nara. She is a sweet, beautiful, and wealthy woman. Of course women are jealous of her! In my opinion she has never done anything problematic. I also think a lot of American moms have a subconcious hatred for her because they do not have the resources to stay at home and cook. They probably feel some sort of guilt feeding their kids uncrustables watching Nara make cassava waffles. I don't think there is anything wrong with either of those lifestyles but women who have very little time have resentment for those who do.

      @@kendallwilson8892 your dream is very valid. And it's a shame that all the women jumping down Nara's throat are probably in their 30s or so. And they've made it their entire personality trait to belittle a young woman in her early 20s who's still figuring out life for herself.

      Many American moms are working three jobs. One for the big man employer, another for the household typical “traditional” chores and duties, then carrying the bulk of child rearing responsibilities…

    I love making things from scratch that you could just buy from the store so I’ve never saw an issue in what she does

      She is an easy target for so many people that need someone to villainize.

    I always heard about Nara. I finally watched her video and all I do is smile. I don’t get the hate. Just a beautiful young mom who loves her family and makes food from scratch. Yes, some of her videos appears like she is trolling but it’s lighthearted and fun. If I had TikTok, I would follow her in a heartbeat.

      I've seen worse creators that actually make harmful content and they don't get half as much hate as Nara. It's crazy.

      Agreed. She is harmless…just yt girls mad their Caucasian prince is married and raising a family with a biracial woman. I call it the Megan markel effect- see; fka twigs, the lady married to the Loki man, this girl, zendaya. SMH I think there’s a group pissed at Zoe kravitz dating magic mike

    I follow her on tiktok and love her videos sm, I just find them relaxing. I know I would never make any of the stuff she makes myself, too much effort for me and too expensive, but that doesn't make the videos any less enjoyable. But the comments are always filled with hate and people making fun off the effort she puts in for something that can be easily bought. It's ridiculous. Some people need to understand not everything they see on the internet needs to be something they can relate to, people are different. Hating on someone just because you don't find them relatable is becoming more and more common

    If Nara is BLATANTLY copying her than that's not cool but OMG there are TONS of girls ALL OVER not just Onezwa that are growing their own food in a farm situation making all their own meals etc.. I've watched SO MANY Chanels all over China , Thailand , Philippines.... I mean a lot of people have heard of LiZiChi. Onezwa isn't even close to the only girl with this vibe but I can understand if 2 days later Nara is doing the same recipe idea on a regular basis. Not sure that's the case though... These are things thousands of people have done online sooo...

    • @actuallyjuliee
      @actuallyjuliee  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think it was a regular basis thing. I found like 3 videos tops of them cooking somewhat similar dishes. But then again I didn't go too deep into that as I found it ridiculous. It's not "stealing content" if it's not your original idea.

    i never saw an issue with her & actually really like her content, i think in the western world they’re used to quick, often cold, meals. salads, sandwiches, etc. i’m african so im used to spending hours to prepare stews, different types of breads, etc., just a regular part of life, didn’t know it was controversial😭

      @@h3tur me too! Seeing people call that "unrealistic" while they are used to slaving away in front of computers for hours was wild. How can you accept that as your reality but get angry at someone who you think is lying about spending all day cooking? You're both working!
      They must have not made pounded yam and Egusi from scratch before lol.

      Right?! It didn't use to be in the US but the "open minded critical thinking progressives" have all kinds of judgmental close-minded thoughts about her and literally ANYTHING that doesn't resemble THEIR lifestyle. I'm not even conservative and I'm OVER it.
