What a beautiful hymn by my favorite tenor of all time! I have listened to him since i was a boy and still pve to hear his voice. This setting is incredible and I love it a lot. I always think of being in church when I hear this beautiful hymn sung by one of the greatest voices of all time!❤❤

Mario performed this so perfectly, the character had lost his voice...he was nervous, lips shaking...could he sing again....then Mother Mary provided the miracle...he started off softly, then the voice echoed...even the organist said "amazing." Priests came in to listen...Mario had tears in his eyes, when he finished. Such a beautiful scene, so truly and believably acted and performed by Mario Lanza.
