- Continuation of episode one. We see the remaining group of Pathfinder candidates put through some tough assessments and training that challenges both their mental and physical capabilities. From fast-cast insertions to conducting landings off a warship to rescuing hostages, the Pathfinders are put to the ultimate tests.
16:50 ... FINALLY .. a serious military instructor that clearly argues AGAINST those stereotype screaming drill sergeants in US military training. This guy I would listen to and learn from for sure!!!!
He didn´t " argue against" it, he just marked the fact that this isn´t the Pathfinder school pedagogy. Screaming is not in the culture of most long range recon type units because those who are selected to attend these courses tend to be very good infantrymen but also they are self-motivated so what matters is their learning curve and sense of initiative which screaming doesn´t help much at that point.
You get yelled at less the further you get into your training. During indoc in BMQ or BMOQ mod 1 you're getting smoked just like red phase in US basic. In later weeks or mod 2 it can depend on your attitude but your staff will usually relax a bit. For element training like CAP, your staff kinda expects you to know what you're doing and you wont get smoked unless you do something particularly stupid. Then trade training and courses like this, (almost) everyone is competent enough to get done what they have to.
if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen
True professionals in their own right! Thank you Brothers and Sisters to our North.
no sisters in there buddy or transgenders
Holy crap these guys are carrying some firepower. Three heavy gunners and three with C8's
Solid copy. I've seen American Ranger Tabs on RCR shoulders since 1993 that's earliest I can predate an exchange of courses with personal first hand knowledge.
And a Canadian Mater Corporal usually tops the course!
Thanks for iploading these!
I think the music is part of a psychological torture operation.
Must be nickelback
I like the music 👍
True. Once you have been in the forces for a while, you dont need screaming and shouting at this level. We always believed that if we expect professional soldiers we treat them as professionals..
Thanks for the video....................................... & THUMBS UP :D
Very hard course to complete.
Hard but looks like daycamp
Could not be easier your obviously a wimp
"Only twelve weeks long" Oh yeah, the length of USMC Boot Camp but 100x harder, no biggie.
Training for a whole other army lol
How do u find the older episodes
My Army Airborne Ranger son will be going to this school soon. Great video!
This is Canadian, he won't be going to this school if he's American.
+rougecards actually American Rangers CAN and HAVE taken this course and are allowed to wear the Pathfinder tab just as we are able to to take the Ranger course and wear their tab on our shoulder.
kobi Impraim Hm, I wasn't aware of this! If this is true, then that's pretty cool. I'll have to ask my higher ups, haha.
Kevin Harrington you sure he went to the Canadian Pathfinder school?
Can canadian soldiers take America army courses?
It looks like they are all using the 64 ruck
no creature comforts
wow how old is this video. captain in this episode was L.Col back in 2014
wow
Full Col now and Commander of Combat Training Centre.
Can reserve members tryout for this to
Depends on unit politics at least it used to. Also training is an investment and investing in a part time candidate is not necessarily a wise choice.
Yes reservists go on the course if there is room
@@KaiserKingFischer they better be outstanding
@@MultiBbrand anyone who tries out for pathfinders "better be outstanding".
@@KaiserKingFischer Exactly
how come we never saw anyone preform any medical

How much weight are these guys carrying? They look like they can hardly move or get up.

Yeah that's pretty impressive, but the cameraman does the same thing while holding a camera.
But he gets to sleep, rest, breaks, eat properly and doesnt do all the shit they do. You cant compare.
