    I finally sold😮 pams "new" & bought a pro. I like the pro features set especially the bigger screen. This module is like the brain in the whole system, it can do so much for the little space that it requires. You made a good video about it too, easy to follow along for those who want to dive right into it. Peace

      Thanks. I agree - the bigger screen is a HUGE plus.

    The best video in a long time where everything is explained very well from start to finish and the example is also given.
    Thanks for that.
    I wish I had the same video for the Quadrax.

      I have a Quadrax! I can do that! I love the Quadrax, but remembering the button combinations to program the CVs always gets me... I'll try to put something together in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Very interesting video about Pam's Pro Workout. I landed on this channel searching for videos about Pam and I've found your channel. Good work, good videos. Thanks.

    Good tutorial. What would bring it up a notch is chapter or section divisions to jump to in order to review an idea

    Wonderful... Thank you. I also have the PPEXP1 connected to my PamsPro, but cannot find any information about its usability.
    Not even a manual.

      Thanks. That's amazing there isn't a manual. Makes me want to get one so I can make a video manual for it! Ha!

    hello, thanks for the video. i'm trying to get pam's to output a gate every 7 steps, so my sequencer (rene mk2) resets to achieve a 7/8 time signature. is it possible to achieve that with euclidean? or are there other ways to do it?

    • @braintree56
      @braintree56  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes. Set the E. Steps to 7. Set the E trigs to 1. Turn the Euclidean Shift to put the trig on whatever beat you want! Bam!

    19:05 how do you sequence the vco with only one Pam ´s output ? Me I need 1 output to trig the vco and a other one to make the melodie (1/oct)

    • @braintree56
      @braintree56  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! That's exactly what I'm doing. Out 5 is V/Oct, 6 is Gate. Same with 7/8. Maybe I said "sequence" instead of v/Oct? Either way, that's exactly what I'm doing! :)

      @draconianrhythms ปีที่แล้ว

      @@braintree56 ah yes, I did one recently too - a right of passage ;) I’m trying to work out how to use Pam’s as a quantiser - the Turing output needs some quantisation (well for me anyway), and I believe there is a way to do this in PPW, but I’ve not worked it out yet - have you used this technique?

    • @braintree56
      @braintree56  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@draconianrhythms I was not able to use Pam's as a straight quantized for external voltage. It has the ability to quantize its own voltage, but as far as I know - it can't act as a quantized for other things. But maybe I just wasn't able to figure it out... 🤷‍♂️

      @draconianrhythms ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@braintree56 interesting - if there is a way, and I can find it, I’ll let you know ofc 👍

      Ok.. got it working .. clock MTM (from Pams or elsewhere), send the out of MTM into PPW CV1 or 2 (the ins at the top). Then select a channel to manage the melody out. Within this melody channel, set shape to square, set the ‘offset’ to be the CV1 or 2 in (whichever you used), then select your quantised scale .. lastly, set the output width to 0% … now the cv melody produced from MTM will be quantised, so just send to a VCO and chill 👌 it’s all about the offset
