    I can't believe this is the first time that I've seen one of your videos, clearly the algorithm has got me all wrong. I own the DFAM but even for someone who does not, this is still such a great beginner's tutorial on synthesis in general. Absolutely positively subscribed.

    Yesterday, I dedicated my Sunday to watching your comprehensive tutorial on the Moog DFAM. Even though it was an hour long, every minute was well worth it. I took notes and tried out what I was learning, and thanks to your guide, I feel I've truly grasped how the DFAM operates.
    I want to express my sincere gratitude for sharing such invaluable content with the community. The way you explained and demonstrated each feature was incredibly enlightening. I was genuinely happy to have learned so much about my Moog DFAM through your video.
    I'm already looking forward to the Moog Mother 32 tutorial! I'm certain I'll be dedicating another full day just to watch and learn from it.
    Lastly, I'd like to ask: do you have plans for a tutorial on the Moog Subharmonicon? I would love to see you tackle that instrument with the same depth.
    To support your amazing work and encourage the continuation of such content, I'll make sure to support you on PATREON.
    Thank you so much, and please keep up the excellent work! ❤

      I’m with you Sergio. I’d love to watch a Mother 32 and Subharmonicom video by XNB. If they are as good as this video, they will be the best on TH-cam.

    Other guides seem to be guys just showing off how much they know, rushing through and jumping around. Your guides actually stay in my head and are inspiring as well, lots of new ideas popping up. Thanks from Australia!

    Found this doing research on a DFAM to purchase. The most excellent and succinct explanation of this device out of the several hundred I have viewed regarding synthesis and sound sculpting! Cheers (I just wish there was a midi for direct into DAW. Oh well. Cheers again)

    You do fantastic fantastic work, thank you for your contribution to the community. I would love for you to do a deep dive tutorial on the Bitbox Micro from 1010 music... a lot of people have it and it's quit complicated but there's almost no decent tutorial videos for it!

      Thanks for the comment. Uhh, I would love to do the Taiga. Tried to contact the Manufacturers to see If I could get a discount or something, no luck. Right now, I have no budget to buy a new synth. We'll see in a couple of months. But yeah, I would love to do Taiga.

    Moog sells bigger knobs that slide onto the tiny knobs. Really helps me fine tune.

    The DIG absolutely rules for live performance. With four channels of cv/gate it is not very hard to create multiple voices playing together on the fly. Love it! I will never sell mine.

    I'm new to semi-modular synths and have a Microfreak and Grandmother besides DFAM. Please, how to connect it so that it receives both tempo and start stop voltages? Ie stays in sync always with other synths

    • @the_impossible_kid
      @the_impossible_kid 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You should be able to link the GM and MicroFreak via midi. Assuming youre using the grandmother as the master clock go from gate out of GM to trigger or adv/clock. Alternatively if the MicroFreak has has a "sync" pot adjust the "ppqn" (pulse per quarter note) you can use that instead of midi for the clock. The grandmother had clock out on the back as well. Hope that helps.
