If the precognition and speed mind come from a drug called "Chronos", then the Psychiatrist's abilities of reality manipulation should come from a drug called "Erebos" or something like that. Both are the names of the Greek titan Chronos/Kronos (the god of time) and the Greek god Erebos(the personification of shadow, mist, and darkness). Throughout most of the boss fight, the environment is a dark shade of blue, or just dark in general. Also, when you end phase 1 by destroying the last duplicate, it disappears in dark, shadowy mist.
Tip: if in 9:35 it doesn't say "jugjement" in your playthrough don't worry that you have to do everything again. If you did all the steps and it doesn't say that you will still fight the secret boss which is sick btw. Nothing like what was before in the game
Tbh one way to tell if you did everything correctly is when after(?) bunker pt1 the psychiatrist says something among the lines of "Honestly, I don't even know why you are still alive by this point". That means the secret boss is triggered and you just need to finish bunker pt2 and interrupt the hell out of him.
I actually didn't even think of that, but now that you mention it.. yeah ! but the difference is I foght that thing legit without Nekro using Natashia :3

Here's some tips on how to beat the boss up until the syringe part which there isnt really anything special to it. 1. At the part where the hands come to you you have to kill all of them not dodge (thats what worked for me) 2. At the clones part you have to shoot the balls back to defeat the clones,hitting them with your sword does nothing 3. At the eyed part, when you get to a certain part its about 4 of you and you cant figure out how to kill the eyes you have to match the eyes with the characters color
For the 4 collor guys, I recomend focusing only on the blue one targetting the blue eyes (the other versions will mirror him, and he is the only one in the "normal" position).

Did this, have some tips [spoilers] First, finish the game, get some key cards and use beam sword. Second: in the eyes bossfight, when you will have inverted 4 panels, make sure your blue Crosshair is on blue eye, green Crosshair is on green eye, same with other colors. Third: you can roll to avoid needles
I always was thinking what would I do as Zero that day(without this fight).I would've taken drugs,injected 2 in myself(of total 5 if I remember correct) and then I would inject two or one in psychologist.And then I would've said:"Now you will understand what it feels like to be junkie.Enjoy."
well the plot basically explains you can't make the drug chronos anymore. And when you run out, a persoin addicted to it will die ( that's Zero ) the psychiatrist had all that remained. So when Zero takes that final syringe, he's pretty much on his way out the door, as no more chronos is available, and the thing that created it is destroyed.
I’ve clocked some tough platformers (Hollow Knight, Cuphead, Celeste ) and this boss was rough. Took me 20+ attempts. The last phase dodging the needles is a pita.
yeah i got the same feeling when the fight started lol, i think it even makes more sense when the fight ends, and you see you just stabbed a nomral human in the head. I htink the entire fight wss in your mind alone xD and I didn't have to use controller 2 lol

I'll tell you what I told everyone else : just use chapter selct, and start from chapter 1. don't skip. there's liek 2 chapters you DONT need to interact in for this, but you might as well just do the whoel game. I replayed it 7 times until i got it, and i just played the entire game and it worked.
you don't have to exactly follow the prompts... for Electrohead, you just gotta talk to him and let V shoot him. Then talk however you want but refuse the drug (don't use red options) And then say "fuck you" to the therapist. you don't have anything special to do after he says "I'm almost disappointed you're still alive", once he says that you're guaranteed to get the bossfight. you gotta follow every step, but using the exact same prompts is not required.

There's a weird timeline here, as they updated the game ( adding the speed run and hard modes ) some things got a little change in the grand scheme of things, I think they went a bit more lenient on the psychotherapist route, as it required some really intricate steps at launch.
according to some people, you can just start with the first tape and skip around until you get there. i tried that, and failed. I figured- im putting in thr time to do this game a 5th time and finally get the scenario to play out, which it finally did. So i might as well just start from the beginning to make sure nothing gets messed up, it's really not much more work to do so.
ppl told me you can start from whatever tape. I repeated this thing over and over on OTHER PEOPLE'S ADVICE and failed every time. when I stopped taking advice it went fine. I started from the start. you gotta do it all anyways and this ensures you get literally every single event in angering psych - like hanging up his calls to the tutorial
I dont know how but i get a dialog at 7:45 even when i was (sometimes) a good boy. Yeah, in my first walkthrough i interrupting him and hangind up the phone so much, but not every time like in this guide, because i wanted to get a good story with a rude main hero, and i didn't kill any of police at prison. Maybe the game scripts were broke here and game thinks that i killed everyone or someone, because after this there is a scene with homeless man, and Zero killed him. As i know if you dont kill any of police at prison, he won't kill this man, so its strange. But still, i dont get the secret fight.
@@dezgasting nope man If you kill the police in the prison you get the option to spare the homeless guy I spared him when i played But if you go stealth on the level and don't kill anyone, you're forced to kill him to saciate zero's bloodlust
i recoommend fininshiing the entire level. i had to repeat the game liek 7 times to do this, it's really just not worth the time to NOT finish them all. its very little extra effort on your part

Considering the end of this game, the girl didn't exist,. or - the gold/silver mask people removed her from the timeline where people would have known her, except for the hero. They said his choice would affect more than just himself, and you can't choose to live and run away ( the game ends if you do )

There's a weird timeline here, as they updated the game ( adding the speed run and hard modes ) some things got a little change in the grand scheme of things, I think they went a bit more lenient on the psychotherapist route, as it required some really intricate steps at launch.

Do you need to play the whole game again to unlock the boss or can you just skip the levels and talk with the therapist by using Continue?
according to some people, you can just start with the first tape and skip around until you get there.
i tried that, and failed.
I figured- im putting in thr time to do this game a 5th time and finally get the scenario to play out, which it finally did. So i might as well just start from the beginning to make sure nothing gets messed up, it's really not much more work to do so.
Do you need to do it in a new run or you can just do it replaying the tapes?

I dont know how but i get a dialog at 7:45 even when i was (sometimes) a good boy. Yeah, in my first walkthrough i interrupting him and hangind up the phone so much, but not every time like in this guide, because i wanted to get a good story with a rude main hero, and i didn't kill any of police at prison. Maybe the game scripts were broke here and game thinks that i killed everyone or someone, because after this there is a scene with homeless man, and Zero killed him. As i know if you dont kill any of police at prison, he won't kill this man, so its strange. But still, i dont get the secret fight.

But if you go stealth on the level and don't kill anyone, you're forced to kill him to saciate zero's bloodlust

I have my theories, though. Considering the end of this game, the girl didn't exist,. or - the gold/silver mask people removed her from the timeline where people would have known her, except for the hero.
