I would listen to Pastor Evans' radio broadcasts regularly in the 1990s. I met him once at a Promise Keepers event and told him how much he inspired me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way about him. I heard the news that he recently stepped down from the pulpit due to "sin."
His personal life must have truly reflected his faith, for all four of his children to have emulated him and his wife. Nothing speaks a better testimony than ones personal walk. Bravo to him. 🙏

For those that are willing to forgive and pray for him without knowing his sin, answer me this. What about the victims. What if his sin involves minors? Please point me to the passage that say we should forgive without knowing the sin. You don't even know the magnitude of his sin, yet you're willing to forgive him without knowing. It's interesting how it's always don't judge but the victims are living in hell because of what was done to them. I never understand people like you and the gospel you believe in. God said we should seek justice and protect the innocent.
What if his son didn’t involve any “victims.” The innocent or otherwise. And here you are. Judging and instigating gossip and innuendo based on pure conjecture. “Let him without sin…”
Point me to the passage that says you should forgive depending on what type of sin was committed? Regardless of the sin we must forgive, so knowing what the sin was does not matter.
