I feel like if there’s so much stuff to sell and Vinted is overwhelming it’s time to take to the charity! I had to do the same with my mums clothes when she passed. Part of me was like this is such a waste but then the relief I felt to have it sorted was worth it ❤
I absolutely agree. I did the same. I had great intentions to sell clothes but it got that overwhelming that I just wanted everything gone fast - so donated and recycled everything. I won’t allow myself (hopefully) to gather as much stuff in the future. I felt great after getting rid of everything and just drawing a line under it
100%. Our plan is to try and get whatever I can over the next few weeks on Vinted and whatever I don’t find the time to list, I’ll be doing a boot sale with. After that, it’s getting added to the already growing donate pile as I just don’t want it in my house anymore. I’m already feeling a little overwhelmed with the “to sell” pile that I want gone so I’m on a time crunch before I move it on. I completely feel you with the relief though 🤍
It does get hugely overwhelming doesn’t it! I don’t think it would be possible if we make sure to stay on top of this to a mass such a huge amount in the future🤞🏼Regularly going into spaces and not over consuming and buying is something I’m working on!
@@EllisSaraSmith it’s so hard when you have kids. I have 2 under 2 - the amount of clothes, toys, blankets etc I have is ridiculous. It’s so overwhelming.
I did my clear out put everything on vinted only a few things sold and after a couple of weeks I was like charity shop. Love your back and doing cleaning and decluttering ❤
Another option is to take your clothes to a consignment shop. I’ve sold some things and done this as well, it’s a way to get things out quickly and possibly recoup some of the money spent!
Thank you lovely! Super happy you’re enjoying watching 🥰 Ruthless is the exact mentality we need tackling these tasks! I can honestly say I don’t miss anything that I’ve donated or thrown though which says a lot! Thank you ☺️
Wow thank you so much for filming again while tossing the clothes that can't be sold or donated. I was just a bit sad to see 2 pretty big pile disappear in just like 5 seconds 🥲 I was hoping you'll film at normal speed and even that you'll dump them by smaller amount to see better what's going in the bag haha but at least you've filmed it and it motivates me to try to do similar (I probably can't mentally toss as much in few seconds tho 😆)
Haha! Sorry. Being heavily pregnant and 3 kids it’s a struggle to get it all done and I need a lot of help from my husband with heavier items and a lot of the bending as I’m shattered come the end of the day 😂 lots of aches! Plus I’m limited on space too. This video took me hours to film so I think at normal speed you’d all be here a while 🙈 Hopefully it still gives you lots of motivation nonetheless🤞🏼Smaller declutters I’ll definitely be able to do this but I’m tackling some hefty spaces right now 😳🙊😂
@@EllisSaraSmith I totally understand that and didn't wanted to put any kind of pressure on you as you're already doing much better than me on that matter 😇 It was specifically just the part while tossing the clothes that I've wished it would have been at normal speed but not the whole process haha. I just finded it a bit sad to see them disappear in the blink of an eye knowing they're now probably completely destroyed 🥲😂 On the second pile, I'm glad you've dropped the handle of the bag at 20:58 so I've could see some of the clothes inside for a second at least 😊 I'm just always wondering if it's ever going to happen again as I feel like I would probably be good for a whole year with a massive declutter like you've done 😮 I hope the best for the rest of your pregnancy 🤗
After watching your wardrobe I went and went thru mine feels great 🎉 have done a couple ov drawers a day , doing a little ar a time is better but I couldn't belive all the stuff I had 😮 loved the vlog well done x
Yay! I’m so glad it gave you all the motivation. Little and often is definitely better 🙌🏼 it’s amazing how much stuff is squished into small spaces isn’t it!? Thank you for watching ✨
I would make a plan with the selling. List the stuff in the next week and if you don't, then take it to the charity shop. If you pop it up for sale give yourself a time frame say 1 week for things under £5 and 2 weeks for anything over. If it's worth hundreds then maybe a bif long but if you don't then you haven't really decluttered, you ahvenjust moved it from the bed/wardrobe to the pile on the floor or another room. I know it's hard becaus eyou paid x amount but it's not worth that now and your mental health and a tidy home tidy mind is worth more. Give it a few week then take it all to the charity shop and start a fresh. This worked for me and my home is 50 lighter. Then I do the 1 in 1 out method so if I get something the same same a jumper, I sell 1 I have and then I only have a few but for sale but I give it the same time and take it to the charity shop if it doesn't sell. You are doing a fab job, keep going ❤ xx
Yes 100%. I think I maybe mentioned in my last video but not this one that my plan is to get everything listed. I’m listing 10 items per day. Whatever hasn’t sold after two weeks of being online gets moved to the garage in our boot sale pile. Then straight after the boot sale whatever hasn’t sold gets donated straight away. I completely agree that I need it tidy and out the way. I can’t deal with seeing this pile in the house at all! Yes love the 1 in 1 out method. Will definitely look to introduce that once baby has arrived. Thank you for all your suggestions 🤍🥰
There's charities that collect household goods and clothes from your home for free! It's so timesaving especially if your pregnant or have to do several trips 😊
Thank you so much for suggesting this! I know someone that used to do this a lot but I’ve never tired other than for a sofa we donated many years ago! I didn’t think about that at all and was going to be hugely relying on my husband to help me out so this is a great suggestion to book in a collection! I think I’m going to book one in for ahead of time and whatever isn’t gone by that date gets donated 🙌🏼
@@EllisSaraSmith The best part is the come collect very quickly pretty much within days to maximum a weeks time. If your not home you can leave it outside too with clear labels.
100%. I’m giving myself a couple of weeks to sell it on and then after that cutting my losses as I don’t want to see it all just sat in the house and creeping its way in. It HAS to go! 🫡
💯 My plan is to Vinted, then whatever doesn’t sell after being online for 2 weeks moves to the boot sale pile. Whatever doesn’t sell at the boot sale goes straight to the charity shop! Conveyor belt 😂
Please help my husband not get let go of things. We're I can but also buy things. When I try to sell on Facebook marketplace or Gumtree or vinted, I don't sell and stuff on there for months even when I reduce the price to pennies. Over the years, like 15 years, I have always given to charity shops and still do, but some of my things cost a lot of money and need to make some money back how do you sell stuff so we'll how much do you get back for a item, example if item cost you £20 how much you get back of vinted? Please do a video on selling and how to price things ❤❤❤❤xxxx
I’m working my way through it 😂 Most of it has gone! 🙌🏼 just a few piles left for the boot sale now. I have a strict rule in place but a few hospital trips caused a little delay but it’s nearly all gone on top of lots of other areas tackled in my home since so I’m feeling proud 😊 definitely been more ruthless in other areas.

You did a great job cleaning and decluttering the house❤👍🏻☑️
I’ve enjoyed this series! It’s crazy how much we hold on too even though weren’t using it.

Yes! Whatever doesn’t sell is going to the charity shop! I’ve sold quite a bit but it’s got a two week limit from being listed and then it’s out! 😂

Holy Cow was that satisfying to watch!!
This is the most insane declutter video I have seen! Omg you did such an amazing job 👏 ❤
Loving this series! I’m doing a big sort out as well so you’re really helping me to be more ruthless! Congrats on bubba number 4 ❤

I’ve become more and more ruthless with each declutter. You’re doing great. ✨✨
I feel the same! Definitely flexing that decluttering muscle and it gets stronger and more confident with each declutter 🙌🏼🙊
The more hidden places you have to store, the more stuff you hoard without realising. .. best of luck...

Having so much less stuff will help you so much with mangaing next bubba x
By the time you’re done, you’re gonna be able to go thru again in a year or so KonMari style cause then it won’t be as overwhelming
Loved it 😀
Aw thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 🥰

I only wanna say you.. Never try to be like other one..
Thank you ☺️
When you said you had clothes under your bed, I pictured a few small bins? Yikes
Give all that stuff away, selling it won’t work is too much of a hassle, justbsell the most expensive stuff, it is just stuff 😊
