Aw thank you Kim, the blouse feels really nice, so clean and fresh looking, and won’t crease I don’t think, saves on the ironing ahaha 🤣 I have an accessory drawer, but I obviously put these bands somewhere before I organised the drawer, and now I can’t find them, they’ll turn up when my new ones come 🤦🏼♀️ they are useful though, xx

It’s a good thing M&S don’t carry my size,at least I don’t think they do,back in the 1960’s I could get into a few of their tops,but not many,in fact when I came to the US I had hardly any clothes to wear,as it was so difficult to find my size in England,and what there was were for old ladies,not a 20 year old.Thank goodness it was a bit easier here to find my size,and now there is no problem at all.There are plenty of clothes in much larger sizes than I wear,as I wear the same size today at almost 80,as I wore at 20.As always Lynn everything was lovely,and you looked great in them.I have a pair of those full leg Jersey pants got them last year,love them.❤😊❤
Hi Janet, I think they do have your size, I’m sure I’ve seen things in up to a 22/24. I think I’m going to alter them today, I need a 27” leg so I bet I’ve to cut about 5-6” off. I want to be able to wear them with trainers. I just wish they did them in more colours 🌹❤️🌹🤦🏼♀️

What lovely clothes. They all really suit you, and well modelled Lynn! I know the waistcoats are in fashion right now, but I had not considered them, but you have caused me to think again. I like gilets, and waistcoats are a good summer version. You gave me ideas about using over a dress. You will get a lot of wear from the navy trousers. I recommended the armbands to Kim (Finding My Style) recently and let her know that you had bought them from Amazon. When you get the next set from there, you will find the originals! That how life can be annoying sometimes. I am forever ‘things’. At the moment I am looking for a sage green chiffon bomber jacket that I need to pack for a holiday! It is somewhere in this house - but where? Thanks for sharing. You have some exciting things coming up.

Hi beautiful, Everything was so lovely. I especially loved the white crochet top. The pants were fab. I took a look at the pieces from the US stores and everything is almost doubled the price from their US stores, bummer. You did pick out some great pieces, though. Glad you are keeping them. The pants really did look so comfy, and it's just awesome how you can dress them up or down, and it still looks so fashionable. I love navy. As a matter of fact, I'm redoing my bathroom in navy. I'm going to use the chalk paint, less prep that way. I've ordered the shower curtain and window curtains and rugs. Once we are done with all the generator stuff, I'll get started in the bathroom. Not sure yet, what color I'm going to use as a trim, to go with the navy. So how was your day with little Ida? I bet you were worn out afterward. Today was our first day with no rain. It was supposed to rain, but it never did. It was so lovely to actually see the sun out and a few white clouds. At the moment we are enjoying, watching the Olympics. I love the Summer Olympics more than the winter, but I do love it all. I made some keto chocolate chip cookies today for the first time to see how they are. I have to say, they tasted a lot better than I thought they would. Of course, Donald got carried away with them. I can see I'll only be able to make them once in a great while. I had two and he ate the rest. They were quite small, and it was a small batch, but still. He has no control when it comes to desserts. haha I do think he eats more out of frustration of not being able to do all he used to do. He misses not being in his workshop building things. I feel so bad for him. Can't wait to see how the en-suite comes out. I'm sure it's going to be so lovely. As a homeowner, it never ends, does it. But that's OK. I would still rather own than rent. We had grilled chicken breasts today, I also found a recipe for keto lasagna that I want to try. Lasagna used to be one of his favorite dishes. I just need to get a few of the ingredients, and then I'll give it a try. Trying to fold the laundry and the kitties keep jumping up on the table, laying on top of all the laundry. Hi sweetheart, thank you, I enjoyed this haul, and it seems to have gone down well according to the comments I’ve received, so I’ll learn from that. I wonder why things are so much more expensive over there, it has to be import duties, store rental, something like that. I love these pant, of course they are about 6” too long hahaha, sewing machine will be out this afternoon as I want to start wearing them with my trainers. Navy has never been a colour I’ve had a lot of, but this year it seems to be my favourite, it’s funny how our perspective changes back and forth isn’t it. I have navy panelling in my lounge, and one wall in my kitchen as you will have seen on the videos, had it 3 years now and still love it. The colour I’ve put with it, is like a buiscuit/putty/taupe colour. The skirting boards and architraves are white. Days with Ida are always my favourite, I just love to be around her, she fascinates me with her conversation, and role play with her babies. Her cousin has a hamster, and they were pushing it around the room the other day in her Barbie car hahaha. Oh I feel so sorry for Donald, I know what it’s like, you eat one, then the rest are shouting at you to come eat them all lol. Harvey’s hurt his back, I think he’s trapped a nerve, but he went on a 50 mile bike ride yesterday with my son and some friends, and he was fine cycling, mind you it’s an electric bike, but even so, he’s still in bed so I’ll have to see how he feels this morning. The en-suite may not be having any work done today if it bothering him, he’ll need to rest for a day or two. I’ve never been a candidate for renting, I think it’s money down the drain, I’m so glad my two are on the property ladder, generally speaking property only goes up in value, not down, unless you neglect it of course. Lasagne sounds delicious, I love it, and spaghetti Bol. Kitties are very curious creatures, love to get in your way don’t they, in boxes, in bags, on washing hahaha, cute. All of the items look lovely Lynn especially the blue patterned blouse ( my favourite colour haha). Be careful with the crochet top as i had one many years ago and had only worn it once as my handbag snagged the loops, i was very sad and annoyed at the time. Love the wide leg trousers but i can't wear polyester as i have too much static in my body but they look great on you.
Thanks for the tips Gina, I think I’ll use a clutch bag to be on the safe side. They aren’t polyester Gina, they are jersey, does jersey have some polyester in it ? I’m not sure now lol. ❤️❤️❤️
Question…what’s the “rule” (if there is one) about jackets and waistcoats that button up the front? Do they need to be large enough to be able to button closed to consider that they fit well? If I buy them large enough to fasten them fully, they often look too large everywhere else! I’m 5’ tall and usually wear a US 12 petite.

I bought loads of clothes from M&S, Next and Roman this year and because of the weather, I’ve only worn a few bits. Hi Lynn, all of the items you showed today were lovely, and I can understand them being keepers. How on earth do you find the time to wear them all?. Went for my eyes testing this week, and because of my rugby balls and the short distance between my pupils, couldn't have the frames I liked as they were too big. I got the linen trousers in that bright green in short as I can’t get extra short and I need heels.
Cousins daughter thought it was highly amusing I came up to her boob and I had heels on. But since loosing more weight I’ve shrunk so blinking annoying not coming of boobs or belly but the one place I don’t need it.
Likes the first trousers.
I’ve fell in love with next pjs there own brand little bit long.
Gonna have to get to grips with wonderweb sewing and me as as good as cooking frozen pizza ends up burnt on the outside raw in the middle.
