I've learned through all your Croatioan videos that Croatia has some of the best food. You guys always seem to enjoy your meals there so much! I went to neighboring Slovenia last year and had awesome meal after meal. Yummmm
I love your idea of ordering different stuff and then just sharing. I do this frequently because that means you can try more things without ordering way too much (as long as everyone's willing to share, of course). Plus, that Truffle Mayo Hamburger (I've never even heard of something like that), looks absolutely divine!
Anne Same, that is why I like Greek meze, Chinese banquets etc The truffle mayo, probably used 'truffle oil' this is often put on fries in Gastro pubs. Personaly it's an acquired taste, not my cup of tea. Anthony - th-cam.com/video/OoMCOJnfh1A/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Thank you! I think when you're with a group that likes to share and try new things it can be awesome to just each order a dish and share. It is like a mini buffet. We had never heard of it before either but now we're big fans.
Another great food vlog. The food always looks great and I'm sure that it taste yummy. You guys have been hanging around my territory lately. Lol. I live close to Venice but heading to Thailand soon "RETIRING" and lookin forward to it. Safe travels on your next journey. All the best!
Thank you very much! Ah, that is cool to hear about Thailand. We've spent quite a bit of time in Thailand over the years. You're picking a great country to retire. Enjoy the warm weather and great food.
In Split 3 weeks ago, that restaurant is so popular, no reservation no luck. But there‘s a lot good restaurents in Split, highly recommend Sug - good quality and reasonable price. I have been watched a lot of your video to help me planning for the trip to Croatia, thanks so much for those fun and informative clips.
Truffle Mayo makes burgers even more tasteful. Had some truffle tagliatelle last week in Italy, I think I'm a truffle addict. That risotto, not to bad at all. We have to go to Croatia soon after Italy. Enjoy, Tino
I love how I’m sitting here eating my taco bell watching you eat a gourmet truffle burger 😂 Once the pandemic is done tho, I’ll be visiting the Balkans
A.) I LOVE lavender foods! B.) Where I live that delicious-looking burger is WAYYY out of my price range. C.) That risotto sounded amazing! We don't have many restaurants here that serve risotto, so it's a treat if I can ever eat it (I always cook it wrong for some reason).
Thanks! That is cool to hear. What kind of lavender foods do you recommend. It is a pricy burger. I would suggest just order that and other dishes if on a budget. Ah, we're still trying to figure out how to make good risotto as well.
Lavender ice cream and Lavender-infued lemonade are quite delicious! Though on a hot day, I personally go for Turkish Lemonade: Freshly squeezed lemonade and fresh, finely-chopped mint leaves stirred with ice.
Hey guys! I love your channel. You seem to eat a lot but how do you stay so slim? I guess you walk a lot, is that it or do you have a secret thing you do? Do you work out when you travel? Greetings from France. 🤗
That burger does look quite nice... I had lavender flower in Helsinki last year as part of Suomi Sata (Finland 100)... (Fragrance & colour over flavour I think too) Fazer Cafe had a pastry similar to Samuel's but with Sea Buckthorn jam inside & the lavender flower was used for the blue (I know it's purple) in the Finnish flag... www.mtv.fi/lifestyle/makuja/artikkeli/maistuisiko-fazerin-kondiittorimestari-loihti-suomi-100-leivoksen-paaraaka-aineena-kirpea-yllattaja/6501522
You've had lavender if you've ever had anything with Herbes de Provence www.saveur.com/article/Recipes/Herbes-de-Provence which is very popular in the South of France. It is a great alternative to Italian seasoning and can really transform a plain dish by adding a ton of flavor. Combine it with a little butter and wine sauce and you've made yourself a gourmet dinner the equivalent of which are only found in 5 star gourmet restaurants.
Well, back in Croatia again, but this time go to North, continental part In Zagorje (north part of Croatia) try "Purica s mlincima" Turky with mills ; coolinarika.azureedge.net/images/_variations/4/9/49450fc076e4c44752b3df208246707d_view_l.jpg?v=0 Or you can go to Slavonija (north east part, Osijek) try real Fish paprikaš ordinacija.vecernji.hr/repository/images/_variations/7/c/7cd5897c5c276805495416e7cbb13938-hero.jpg?v=2
There's just something that really really turns me off about black sesame seeds on a burger bun. It makes it seem like there's yucky seafood on the inside and that nasty fishy stink lol.
It's fun to see what you eat, but I still maintain that your presentation is shallow- "Mmm...Ahhhh....Yummm" That could be said about most well-made dishes. I wish you would connect your eats with the local history, culture and religion. Otherwise, it's just a video about people eating good food.
I've learned through all your Croatioan videos that Croatia has some of the best food. You guys always seem to enjoy your meals there so much! I went to neighboring Slovenia last year and had awesome meal after meal. Yummmm
Thank you! Indeed, Croatia has some amazing food and great places to eat. We had some our best meals in the past 6 months in Croatia.

Ox tail risotto and burger with truffle mayo....... interesting ingredients, nice
Indeed, it was a very interesting and tasty meal :)
I got really hungry watching you eating the gourmet burger, it looked delicious!

7:06 How delicious Sam's cappuccino looks! Perfect for dessert after a contemporary Mediterranean lunch.
Thanks Brady! They sure do food well in Croatia.

Me too! My friends and I will order different meals with extra plates, and then dig in family-style and try all sorts of deliciousness.

That's just the best!
Thanks!
Both of these look very scrumptious.
Thank you! It was a meal to remember.

Was there a meat patty in the burger?
A.) I LOVE lavender foods!

I understand Joey from friends right now, so much. You have to get a communal fries. Placed in the middle.
Sorta like a buffer barrier.
When are you going to Brasil? I love your vídeos. I'm learning english with him.☺️😁
Thanks! We'd love to visit Brasil soon but no plans as of now.
Honestly €47 for that meal is pretty darn good! It's not like you're going to be eating like that every day so it's nice to treat yourself 😊
Thank you! THat is very true. A splurge every once in a while is a good idea :)
You made me hungry and its 3 am
Sorry about that!
Lavender in a honey sweetened latte is very good ☕🍔🍟
Oh, we'll have to try that!
mmmm yum yum.
Thank yoU!
Nice 👍
Thanks!
Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos you are so beautiful 😍
Hey guys! I love your channel. You seem to eat a lot but how do you stay so slim? I guess you walk a lot, is that it or do you have a secret thing you do? Do you work out when you travel? Greetings from France. 🤗
Thank you! We try to walk a lot and Audrey is much better at this than I am.
The rice seems pretty good
Thanks! It was.

Here in Kansas our local Lavender farm makes a black tea with lavender that is quite delicious. And I agree, that burger looked incredible.
That is really cool to hear! Thanks for sharing.
Oh, that tea sounds wonderful!

Just once To hear you say it’s horrible, you don’t want any and have you walk away with the dessert! 😂
Hahahaha....you should see our reaction to the food we tried in Blagaj ;)
Well, back in Croatia again, but this time go to North, continental part
In Zagorje (north part of Croatia) try "Purica s mlincima" Turky with mills ; coolinarika.azureedge.net/images/_variations/4/9/49450fc076e4c44752b3df208246707d_view_l.jpg?v=0

#LOVEFORMNEPAL
Thank you! We miss Nepal.
you guys think that truffles are exclusively from italy but i 50% of those truffles is imported from croatia
That is good to know.
There's just something that really really turns me off about black sesame seeds on a burger bun. It makes it seem like there's yucky seafood on the inside and that nasty fishy stink lol.
Ah, that is interesting to hear. I wonder if they can make it without it.
Are you advertising food for others? What is exactly the purpose of ordering food and then telling others how it tastes and how much is costs?
Vatsek guess it‘s an advice for other travelers?
To show others what you can eat in each destination we visit.
Thanks, basically that reason.
Nisi pametan
It's French?
I want to be your 45 year old child! 😫 ❤
hahaha
Can someone (Audrey) clean the mess up from Samuel's mouth. It's not fair to us at home that he's saving some for later
I was here today and it wasn't even average. Been in split for 4 days and this was the worst meal we have had
after sam took the first bite and started moaning, he sounded like a food pervert.
Hahaha...whoops
:-)
Thanks!

We need to do more thorough research.
Ton fils est roux?
Ton fils est chauve?
