I built a micro transmitter designed to transmit a messy carrier signal into all channels. It was only the size of a cigarette pack and transmitted only a very low power signal so I threw it onto his roof very near his antenna. It slide down into his gutter and shut him down for a couple weeks without bothering any one else until the the battery pack gave up. The really funny part was, he knew I fixed CB radios and brought his kit to me to fix. Needless to say I had serious problems fixing it. It took me weeks waiting parts it certainly did not need!

Hello, your video has helped me a lot for the construction and presentation of one as a school project, so I thank you for the video, however I have some questions that I wondered if you could answer: With the Jammer that I have built, the signal is not inhibited , but dims, in my tests a 70mbps download and 31mbps upload connection dims to a 4.70 on both. Why has this happened? Why hasn't it been disabled? The components are the same and the only difference is the battery that in my case was used a 3.7 volt lithium cell phone battery, it was slightly discharged. Secondly, the inhibition area is quite poor, the devices to be inhibited must be extremely close for their signal to be attenuated. Finally, what is the spectrum analyzer program or device that you use, both the tablet and the computer?
I don't understand really how the jammer works. Sure you have 4 different transmitters but from what I can see you simply fill up the spectrum with junk. But how do you target specific frequencies with it? Is that transmitter built to work across all wifi channels? What's the real purpose of that transmitter? What kind of equipment would you use to receive the signal?
each chip fills three channels of wifi ( I think he said this) so having all four outputting within their frequency band they fill up all the 2.4-2.483 ghz wifi spectrumim sure your question was already answered, but for anyone wondering something similar

@@Kayshots, a encrypted connection will not stop the drones from being jammed. If they use 2.4 GHz and it‘s a jammer (not deauther), the drone can still not be controlled. Many more expensive drones use 5.8 GHz, which still can be jammed (but it‘s more complicated). A jammer basically is like someone shouting in a meeting, while others speak. It floods the spectrum with noise and therefore messes with the modulation. A deauthing device will send false deauth frames and abuse a exploit in most (even expensive) routers.

Andrew, could u build one I could buy from you?
it is illegal to buy in the US
what are these transmitters actually transmitting?
How it work? Ur Av transmitter has 4 channel and u can crash all 13 channel wifi?
Que tal, tengo una consulta... también es posible bloquear las frecuencias 5.8 GHz?
y si es posible se puede utilizar Sectorial 120° 19 dBi ubiquiti, para ese propósito?
transmitter wont ship to my country, is there any other alternative?
I know it's late but can someone update the link to buy the transmitter
What are the antennas you are using?
9dbi
thanks for sharing andrew mcneil
What is the SNR of the jammed signal (approx)?
This is a very interesting video clip, it looks very easy but i don't think id be up to making one of these units.. Have you ever made one of these units and sold it on your shop..
Terry
How to block the radio signal or jam it with devices, e.g. computer keyboard etc. Because I had an attack and the one who did it knows my frequency of devices and knows when I turn on the computer etc.
Where did you get the antenna?
google RP-SMA
What is the range of this jammer? Thanks.
hello Andrew ! i live by the sea and there is no adsl ( no wired phone ) so the only way to connect is through a hotel i bought ALFA WiFi adapter ,,, it worked fine the first few days than it started disconnecting and reconnecting by itself ,, i spend hours googling to find a solution ,,, many say drivers ..updates ect.. all that didnt work i even formated my pc win 10,, than someone said alfa needs 500ma at least to work so i bought usb hub and a 12 V charger than the whole thing blows up, the usb hub and the alfa is there away to connect to the hotel ? the distance is only 300 meter please help ! i had enough buying data on my phone
Why would you want to jam WiFi signals?
robrow Obviously you don't have teenagers addicted to twitbook :)
robrow Hi Robrow to be honest it is just a toy much like the tv b gone.
+Peter6th and what meaningful purpose it that. I have a friend who has one and all he does it turn off TVs in the restaurant and such. There is NO meaningful propose other than to cause havoc. look up TV b gone and 8 of the first 10 videos are using it in public to troll people.
If you're a teacher and students are using cell phones in class. You can make rules, you can be on it in the class. But with 30 students it's just easier to flick a switch and turn them all off.
Do you have any video for the 5GHz wifi jammer?
No sorry
@@andrewmcneil I'll try this next week tnx for the video.
Can I request for the 5Ghz wifi jammer for your next video?
andrew
what are the specs for the battery?
how long is the range ?
probably like 5-10 foot radius
Wanseer Gaming wrong.
Hola tienes algun esquema para su construccion ? Gracias
Imagine if someone plugged this into a wall and hid it in a bush.
xX_ScetchUp 9R0_Xx I'd be p*ssed lol
Ya.... All those wall bushes with outlets just waiting to be plugged eh ...
can i consider wifi jammer as a embedded system
And what will happen if I connect all the chanel pins at the same time to the ground?
Great video.
how many modules did you used?
I've heard of farmers using these to keep drone pilots off their land.
That’s why I use Crossfire or Ghost no interference 😱
Well those are some cheap farmers! Good drones use a protected connection that goes via a encrypted connection.
Only drones up to 70$ use wifi
@@Kayshots, a encrypted connection will not stop the drones from being jammed. If they use 2.4 GHz and it‘s a jammer (not deauther), the drone can still not be controlled.
Many more expensive drones use 5.8 GHz, which still can be jammed (but it‘s more complicated).
A jammer basically is like someone shouting in a meeting, while others speak. It floods the spectrum with noise and therefore messes with the modulation. A deauthing device will send false deauth frames and abuse a exploit in most (even expensive) routers.
