Honkai star rail is a good game, but, I LOVE HSR MORE gacha System are bad, the 50/50. The pity system refers to a number of pulls or wishes you need to do on a banner before you're guaranteed a 4-star or 5-star. You have a chance of getting a 4-star or 5-star before even reaching that number. Remember genshin Gacha lol ☠
I don't really mind the combat but I do agree on the brain dead part, rather than strategy that turn based games are famous for like F3H it felt more like an auto clicker where you just need to make sure you are 1 lvl above your enemy
That's the point, you create such challenge for yourself. I decided that I would be atleast 11 lvls below enemy to keep it interesting and honestly it has been fun trying to keep my characters alive and the enemy dead which takes multiple tries as the enemy often one shot me.

i wanna say something in regard the part of team building in a ecomic aspect by mihoyo: you know what happens when solving a "meta" it's so easy? Everybody can do it and do you know how many content creators are aiming for a thing this easy and yet so good to make money on it bc of it's popularity? Also, when a meta is resolved in so little time you open the gates of hell bc you make everyone so in need to even the little change in it... and so a loop start where everybody can and will keep pushing easy meta solving content (and most of it it's just wild speculations), a race of snails, not really a race so. the beauty of this? for mihoyo for so many living things to be able to be a "theory crafter" it's a gold mine for the incredible visibility that this allows theme to have combat it's the same, mihoyo need the games they make to be easy bc everybody need to be able to play, master il ittle time the learning curve and eventually spend money to destroy it
Star rail is just too simpliefied that it feels like you aren't even playing the game because you basically do nothing as you watch the characters take turn and fight, it's like watching a long video clip of characters taking turns to fight which is extremly boring
I think there one more thing that suck is the one you use to power up your gear to fight with high level , it still give a short damage wise, like imagine your higher than 50 and your opponent is at level 49 or 48 and when you attack them it gives you a low damage on the monster
I think you just didnt build correctly Cuz there no way your dps having low dmg in lvl 50 💀 Even the worst dps in the game can almost 2 shots or even 1 shots normal mobs and other depend on your opponent You wont feel having low dmg at all

I love Hoyoverse games such as Honkai 3rd and Genshin because there's this "freedom" that makes you feel immersed in the game, being able to move left and right to dodge attacks or looking constantly at your CD abilities to time perfectly combos, on the other hand Honkai Star rails fails flat at that, everything is set from the start, DMG/Hits/Abilities, there's no way to dodge an attack, you're gonna get HIT regardless of what you do

to be real gacha and waiting for update part always stop me from playing f2p turn base games, the hsr story is decent tho, generic af as always. its mihoyo after all, they always focus on presentation, especially on the references (i love they use space train like in the Galaxy Express 999) and cutscenes, and the music is on par with genshin, definitely one of the best ost on the f2p gacha game market

I agree on those points. I personally dislike the name of the game. It’s so long and it even has three words which is one more word than Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. I mean technically Honkai Impact 3rd also has three words but who even says Honkai Impact 3rd? Most just say Honkai Impact. Whereas with Honkai Star Rail you can’t just say Honkai Star or Honkai Rail but you have to say Honkai Star Rail. You could say Star Rail but then you leave out the word Honkai which (probably) has some significance. So I would not recommend doing that. The last option is calling it HSR but it’s not really an acronym that Hoyoverse uses themselves. As someone who gives great importance to authenticity and heritage I cannot simply use a made acronym just because it is convenient. As it evidently by now, the cons outweigh the pros of the game. Hoyoverse has made a mistake and I hope they learn their lesson. If both of us stop playing then Hoyoverse is sure to notice.

Lol.. for me this game is beautiful and relaxing.. The complexity aspect is just right, resource management, decicion making, complexity of battle system including team/character building, battle decicion, skill points risk management, hit in map, the elements and path, card decision in simulated world, etc.. And btw the actual number of team comp cant be decided with just the number of character, because 3 characters could be considered as 1 because they actually just offer the same thing. So what also need to consider is the variable aspect of battle and the character building (crit, atk, speed, break weak, dot, dmg bonus,...) But in hsr still cant be decided because currently still in early game and still more character/ light cone/relic coming out so just enjoy The other aspects like the character design, music, story, features are on top of the list.. its beautiful..

This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. So much great graphic design, so much suspense, so much greatness in this one video. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42. I am crying. This has made me go through an emotional rollercoaster. I cried, beat off, and also watched a movie while watching this premiere. This has made me go through so much. I passed depression because of this. It really inspired me to become an outstanding young man. Thank you

The pity system refers to a number of pulls or wishes you need to do on a banner before you're guaranteed a 4-star or 5-star. That's the point, you create such challenge for yourself. I decided that I would be atleast 11 lvls below enemy to keep it interesting and honestly it has been fun trying to keep my characters alive and the enemy dead which takes multiple tries as the enemy often one shot me.
I was so willing to listen to critique and man I was taken for a roller coaster ride. As satiristic as the video gets, it brings some valid points lmao

you know what happens when solving a "meta" it's so easy? Everybody can do it and do you know how many content creators are aiming for a thing this easy and yet so good to make money on it bc of it's popularity?
Also, when a meta is resolved in so little time you open the gates of hell bc you make everyone so in need to even the little change in it... and so a loop start where everybody can and will keep pushing easy meta solving content (and most of it it's just wild speculations), a race of snails, not really a race so.
the beauty of this? for mihoyo for so many living things to be able to be a "theory crafter" it's a gold mine for the incredible visibility that this allows theme to have

them it gives you a low damage on the monster

I love Hoyoverse games such as Honkai 3rd and Genshin because there's this "freedom" that makes you feel immersed in the game, being able to move left and right to dodge attacks or looking constantly at your CD abilities to time perfectly combos, on the other hand Honkai Star rails fails flat at that, everything is set from the start, DMG/Hits/Abilities, there's no way to dodge an attack, you're gonna get HIT regardless of what you do

I personally dislike the name of the game.
It’s so long and it even has three words which is one more word than Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd.
I mean technically Honkai Impact 3rd also has three words but who even says Honkai Impact 3rd?
Most just say Honkai Impact.
Whereas with Honkai Star Rail you can’t just say Honkai Star or Honkai Rail but you have to say Honkai Star Rail.
You could say Star Rail but then you leave out the word Honkai which (probably) has some significance. So I would not recommend doing that.
The last option is calling it HSR but it’s not really an acronym that Hoyoverse uses themselves. As someone who gives great importance to authenticity and heritage I cannot simply use a made acronym just because it is convenient.
As it evidently by now, the cons outweigh the pros of the game. Hoyoverse has made a mistake and I hope they learn their lesson. If both of us stop playing then Hoyoverse is sure to notice.

The complexity aspect is just right, resource management, decicion making, complexity of battle system including team/character building, battle decicion, skill points risk management, hit in map, the elements and path, card decision in simulated world, etc..
And btw the actual number of team comp cant be decided with just the number of character, because 3 characters could be considered as 1 because they actually just offer the same thing. So what also need to consider is the variable aspect of battle and the character building (crit, atk, speed, break weak, dot, dmg bonus,...)
But in hsr still cant be decided because currently still in early game and still more character/ light cone/relic coming out so just enjoy
The other aspects like the character design, music, story, features are on top of the list.. its beautiful..
