I have sold Jake’s 9x12 cards in 3 different towns with great success. It’s actually a lot of fun and you make great money too. This is one of the most simple businesses you can startup for a side hustle or a main job for literally less than $50.00.(That’s just for sample 9x12 cards and some business cards.) It just works!! NO EXCUSES!!
This is a great way to make money. I love the fact that you "own" the customers since it's your own business. I love you how you mention expanding into digital marketing (whether you can do it or partner up with another company for fulfillment) or other opportunities to make more money from your customer base. Way better than working for someone else and building up THEIR customer base!
Lucy you're so right because once you have them on your card they have SUCH a high percentage of buying other services from you ~ including all those lucrative digital ones!
Hmmm... This is a really interesting idea. I am planning on doing EDDM for my business as is. I could use this and add my company to it and basically have it paid for plus make extra money. I will email you with more questions. This is a logical idea that I never even thought of before. Great video.
Wow, this is really cool! Im glad this popped on ky feed today. Do u have a video of yours to watch that starts explaining this process and service for a newbie like me? The ads that are put onto the post card, are they provided from the local business or is it something that i put together and get approved from the business owner? Sorry if these seem like silly questions 😊
Hey melissa thanks!! yeah I have a lot of videos if you just go through my channel you'll find stuff that interests you on it. Plus my pocast on spotify/apple just search "high response marketing podcast".
Go for it! I mean, of course I'd say that but you should get it if it's in your budget! You'll be up all night though digging in, prepare for no sleep!
I’m a contractor from Sacramento. I’ve been watching your videos for a few weeks now. Great information. How can I get in touch with you to learn more. Jeff, Affordable Tree/Hardscape
Nice! I started in the remodeling industry as a salesperson and owned a window/siding co from 09-14 ... that's actually how I got into marketing, I was doing so well marketing it I shifted to making it my main business. Shoot me an email with what you're looking for! jake@highresponsemarketing.com
Interesting concept, I would like to experiment with this. I’ve got a few questions… Do you have them on a monthly subscription? Also how do you pitch this this businesses starting out & prove effectiveness? Lastly, where do the cards get placed? You just leave them in mailboxes? Thx in advance
hi! it's a really proven system. I don't personally put anyone on a monthly subscription just because I don't (now) do enough cards consistently to warrant it --- I just do them sporadically through the year to bring in new clients, keep the antsy ones happy, and stay visible in the community. So I don't want to contract people and then not feel like putting one out one month and be forced to. Those of us that make 9x12 a main core of our business and put them out monthly almost all put people on recurring agreements or even get paid upfront for whole quarters at a time ($1500-$2000). This would be the "norm" for almost all media advertising, so it's nothing new for your advertisers. I like to say that there's not a whole lot of pitching needed other than just showing the card (you can get samples from me if needed). Smart business owners will grasp the value right away. The best piece of advice I can give is to simply pitch yourself as a fellow business owner that's just seeing if any other local owners want to help share the cost of a large postcard going out to the community. As far as effectiveness, you don't have to prove anything. You're just offering a way to get in front of 10,000 (or however many you're mailing) residents. What they advertise or offer to them is up to them. You're just offering the exposure. Running a sale and having 10,000 locals instantly aware of it is pretty powerful stuff.
Hello Jake and hello subscribers, I am from the UK, does anyone have any experience from here across the pond doing this, obviously the concept is the same, but the pieces of the puzzle and the costs will be different, any feedback, signposting or tips would be greatly appreciated! (By the way, incase anyone is doing this from UK, I am from Manchester and I plan to stay local with this for now, then who knows how far it goes!!)
I really need to get more people from the UK to respond because it's such a different system there, even though it's very similar you guys have the private distribution services that ultimately are cheaper than royal mail -- but I think it comes down to who's more reliable.
@@HighResponseMarketing Yes, absolutely correct, thanks for the reply Jake, as well as the response from the ads, the reliability of the shipper/postal vendor is something we cannot fully control, its certainly worth a costing analysis though throughout the process. P.S. I emailed you last week too Jake, don't know if you've seen the email ;) 27th Jan
@@NebulaHolistic-jc2yd you might want to buy some 9x12 samples ($25) if you want to see what they're like in person and to show others), but otherwise no, 100% nothing else needed!
@@NebulaHolistic-jc2yd it's OK! So if you follow everything step by step you're looking at 2 weeks of preparation, 2 weeks of filling the card, and then 2 weeks to get all your payments collected/cards printed/dropped off at the post office, etc. So it's like 6 weeks from start to mailbox. But any of those can also be shortened by a week if you really hustle, so technically even inside a month you could have it all done but that's working really fast.

she did for many years. the amount of time with personal support involved, as well as that she doesn't want these "sitting on a ton of people's hard drives" led to her decision to price it at what it is. I don't blame her. For a real business like this it's a bargain.
