Great stuff as always, and a good reminder about how well mailing postcards works. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and grind of 'digital' marketing! I'll have to review my copy of the Local Marketing Masterclass! (btw, the link to the Indispensable Postcard Manual isn't working for me...) Cheers!
yes hah I somehow accidentally deleted it, didn't even realize that. I bet you'll go through the masterclass again and find all sorts of stuff you forgot. Thanks for watching and for enjoying the vids.
I’m a single mom of 4 that has to figure out how to work and be available as a parent, I’m going to hit the ground running with this I hope to report back with amazing news
This is so true. The rise of AD Blockers & Subscription based business models shows that people are turned off and are even willing to pay to not see online ads. Offline Advertising like Print & Direct Mail are ready to dominate the industry. The business model is already proven, its just a matter of creating a unique design & template. Thanks for the video!
Love the videos. I was wondering if you could please do a video of how customers place an order on a community postcard. Do you use any contracts? Can you talk about the process? Thanks so much! :D
I have connections through my real estate with a lot of condominiums and apartment complexes. What EDDM works best for those. I think the 9x12 might be difficult for USPS carriers to leave - can't fit in most large group mailboxes - and if these are left in a tray or on top of the mailbox, won't survive poor weather, wind, or people will just ignore. What to do?
that is a problem, a real one unfortunately. If there's a community mailbox area the carriers are allowed to just leave a stack of mailers there, rather than put one individually in each box. Honestly if you're farming that area it's best to do a targeted mailing where they're addressed individually.
This is so interesting. I was in marketing years ago, and now starting a coaching and real estate investment businesses - and this is so good. Will have to go hit the streets! Love the interview series...though I don't enjoy being on camera myself, but hey...this is very cool! Have you looked at anything outside the USA?
Hey Bob... like always, awesome video with true down-to-earth advice. Thanks Man! Just one problem, you barely uploaded this video and your sale for the "Indispensable Postcard Manual" is over? I clicked on the link above and the sales page says, "Sorry, you missed it. Sale is over" or something like that.
thanks! and yeah hah I'm an idiot. I had somehow DELETED the page for it!!! working on restoring it, you can however shoot me an email at jake@highresponsemarketing.com or jake@printing4supercheap.com
@@HighResponseMarketing No man, you should never call yourself an idiot, that's your wife's job. 🤣 Just kidding man, just kidding. I'll definitely shoot you an email. Thanks again for everything you do... you totally rock! 😁
Thanks Jake, I am new to the channel and have found many tip, tricks and pointers that will help as I move forward. I am an insurance agent and like to work local. I feel like it would be a bit limited only because you have to drive to the areas post office for the mail (thus limiting the reach per say). Am I wrong in saying that or am I missing something?
hey Norman! Actually your'e not limited at all, in fact anything more than 10 minutes away I won't even drive to myself, i just prep and ship them there directly. You can use free sites like pirateship and ship them really cheap locally, saving you a ton of hassle.
@@HighResponseMarketing is there a video on this in the channel? If so, I missed it. If there isn't, what would be the likelihood of making one? I did look into PMOD which seems to be an option if you do a lot of non local business. The permit fee along with the yearly fee was substantial IMO but definitely doable since the cards will net you great results in profit
Hey Jake, love the channel my friend. 2 questions: 1. Do you have a video/course to help set pricing for making community cards/mailers? 2. What tools do you use for your targeted mailing campaigns? I’ve used the property appraiser site in my county - but it’s somewhat limited to property owner data only. Thanks!
Hey!!! Usadata is by far my favorite data source. For pricing I generally recommend just doing a 40 to 50 percent margin. You can find margin by taking your cost and dividing it by .7 or .5
@@HighResponseMarketinglove it. Thanks my man. You ever consider doing a grid price (1”x1”)on your mailers? So in a 9x12 mailer you have a potential of 108 grids per side x 2 sides = 216 grids. If I want to generate $5000 in sales I divide that by $216 and that gives me roughly $23 per grid to sell to my clients. They then tell me how many grids they want to purchase? Or…am I overthinking it? lol.
I just came across your channel and Wow, what a wealth of info! I definitely want to incorporate direct mail into the marketing solutions I offer to businesses!

How do 9x11 fit in mailboxes?
I actually answer it in a recent video on Q&A's for 9x12. It just wraps around your other mail like a taco, then it springs open!
This guy is great--- hilarious! I've used him to print before - high quality and super fast!
what do you use now?
