I am an Oilers far up here in Edmonton, but I love the Penguins and Crosby and I know they are just in a mental slump. We know what that is like! The boys need lots of love from their fans right now. They are champions and they need to start believing it!!!!!!
It was nice of Dallas to take two periods off. I'm a Pens fan, but also a hockey fan. I have no problem watching a team like Dallas take the Pens apart. It's a lesson and it is part of a learning process for the Pens. There are 32 teams in the NHL, and everyone is trying to win on a level playing field. Learn to appreciate the game and the talent in this league, and don't feel sorry for the Pens.
Reminds me of the last glory days of Detroit. Time for Pens to rebuild unfortunately. The time has come. You guys had an incredible 15 years … with 3 championships
You only have 2 guys on this team that could make the Dallas lineup......two! We expect 87 to have success playing with 3rd liners who can't handle or possess the puck. If he or Malkin don't drive the play than nothing happens. Watching Dallas they worked as a unit, crisp passing around the lifeless, talentless Penguins, they owned the pucked and all of them can fire it......unlike the muffin shots coming from the black and gold. Blame the previous GM's, but Dubas has done his share of damage too, and Sully just can't get it done, and hasn't for years. He doesn't get a pass because this squad is so bad, just start tracking back to last year, the year before, the year before......the train was rolling on THESE tracks for a long time now without a course change. Apparently Dubas has said everyone but Sid is available..........well honor Sid and get him off this ride too!
@ , what’s ur point. They played about four or five games together and the line was owning the puck, but all three other lines disappeared so they were broke up. It’s Sid and Malkin, that is it. Everyone else is an accessory piece or has no finish. Sid started with Bellivillier and O’Connor……and you expect big numbers? Than Rust came in cold and possibly hurt, but he doesn’t create room or possess the puck, he’s not on any top two lines in the league. So I ask ya, what point are you making?
@@TheBearGuyCanada Sid wasn't doing much until Malkin was put on his line. This isn't rocket science. Sid needs to step up against the good teams. His goals have come against mediocre to bad teams: Habs, Isles, Ducks and Sabres.
@@GreekboyyD , step up, lol. Oh my god. So he has to go out, win every faceoff, hit, defend the whole ice, set up Rust or whoever scrub they have with him, and than break thru double and triple coverage to score cause let’s face it, no body is worried about rust or O’Connor. lol. Sid needs to step up? Wow! Furthermore, Malkin has four points in his last seven, all done in two games. So Malkin hasn’t been hot lately after his hot start.
@TheBearGuyCanada They are too old to carry the team and the Pens don't have any good young players to do the heavy lifting for the aging core. Pens are done.
"You can't quit, you can't give up..." yet you all did, and allowed them to score a *7th* goal against you. I've seriously got to find something else to distract me from my own fouled up life, other than this wretched team.
Give Dubas the ability to rebuild, retool, whatever verbage you feel comfortable with. Sid is untouchable. That's it. This is an ownership mandate, not a Dubas mandate. If you don't believe that, ask yourself how Sullivan remains the head coach.
KB was hired by new Ownership with a mandate to make another cup run with an aging core group vs a re-build strategy. Well, here you are. If you’re looking to assign responsibility, place that directly on ownership.
not ownerships fault.. not really hard to make a good team when your 3 best players are only making 6.5m, 6m, and 8.7m lol. When your best players are only getting paid that much and your team still sucks, that all points to the GM
All of his goals have come against the mediocre to bad teams this season: Habs, Ducks, Sabres and Isles. He needs to step up against the good teams. Pens are done though. Stick a fork in them.
The Penguins are the most successful organization in the NHL with 5 Stanley cups that’s when you have too beat 4 Teams and win 16 games in the playoffs that started in 1987, Montreal Canadiens only had too beat 3 teams and 12 games back in the day so those cups don’t really count, and as for the new owners they should’ve known that. And dubus shouldn’t of been hired he didn’t do anything in Toronto who hasn’t won since expansion in 1968 so why should Sullivan pay the price he coached 2 of there 5 Stanley cups. If your gonna fire anybody fire Kyle dubus
@@ethanparker7900 If he doesn't care that his last few years will be irrelevant then that's fine. I just hope he doesn't think they can be competitive anytime soon.

They suck
Go Oiler Go, Crosby retirement year
You have to give Sid credit, that’s tough to sit and be questioned after a loss like that.
It's a bit easier if you've recently agreed to another $8.7 million.
Why. He signed up for it. He knew they’d suck this year. The three wanted to finish up together. This is what they got.
Sid is the ultimate pro and he deserves better. I feel bad for him. He wants to win more than his teammates for sure

No heart. Kyle Dubas is failing badly so far. Karlsson is just a liability. It didn’t work
Crazy how he pulled of his last season in San Jose.
I see Kyle is ruining another NHL team.

Dubas is a failed GM....just look at the mess he made in Toronto. Ditch him and whoever hired him and things will get better.......
