Having a health insurance is a must or compulsory for all citizens and residents of France or other Schengen countries. Consultation with a general physician is almost free in certain countries . I am in the neighbouring Belgium. I pay in fact only 3 to 4 Euros for a medical consultation. Students may be even less or free( as they dont earn). If you dont have medical insurance, medical services are very very expensive.
If I am in Germany on long stay VISA and suddenly I want to move to France or say I got better college in France, hw does the VISA extension work. Do I just need to go to the international office in France and get my VISA extended to resident permit or do I need to go to the french embassy in Germany to get new VISA or Do I need to go back to India for French VISA, considering that for Germany I already have a EU long stay VISA
