Yeah, Michael made some poor decisions around this time of his life, but he really was going through something personal and internal. He literally spent nearly his entire life up until that point just swimming everyday. No social life, no living a party kid life, nothing. But at least now in his retired age, he’s doing much better.

Only dopes do dope! I was the biggest dope using drugs from mary jane, pcp, angel dust, cocaine, tac, brown microdot, orange sunshine, etc...It was ruining my life not to mention my marriage. Quiting was the hardest thing, for I had done drugs for 20 yrs at a cost of nearly $30k...I had 1 yr of dt's but managed to finally quit. Now that I look back & if I had to do it all again, the answer is No....It takes so much out of you.
No need to tell me what I already knew. As Forest Gump would say: "Stupid is as stupid does." We all live and learn just some do it the hard way not listening to experienced folks. If I'd listened to my mom & dad while they were alive, I'd be a millionaire by now. Been drug free for 16 yrs and the only vice now is caffeine & nicotine. :)
