A winner of a recipe for me guys although I’m not a fan of pressure cookers. I watch a lot of TH-cam cooking videos and I have to say I love your content. Its the little things that people forget, for instance adding salt and pepper to the leeks to bring out the natural sugars in them and get them cooking nicely, it really does show you guys know what you’re doing when it comes to cooking ❤
Another lovely meal. When making mash, I always find waxy potatoes like reds are best. It makes a firmer mash and holds together better when boiling. Floury potatoes like Maris Piper & other whites, I find more suited to roasting with a more fluffy texture. Coming from an Irish background, we know our spuds 😅
Welcome home peeps, we all love going on hols but us that cook are so glad to get home to our own kitchens pots and pans and stuff. We love savoury mince and mashed spuds, we grew up on it in london. Some dishes we grew up with are the best comfort foods. I like the idea of the leek mash I must give it a so. 😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

@@sharongrace1582 The instant pot versions of which there are quite a few are great because they have several functions. When I got mine I was nervous but went on line and watched tutorials which were very helpful. I must say I truly enjoy cooking with them and can have meals ready add very short notice. I have used mine to thaw a rock solid frozen piece of meat to make a lovely tender roast or pie filling. The list goes on.

My kids grew up on savory mince, but I would always use mixed vege's (peas, carrot & corn added into it ) so they would get a vege quota and always served on rice. The left overs would be saved and they would have it on toast after their swimming lessons for brunch. G'Day from Australia
My granny, now long dead, used to make the most beautiful dumplings. She also made something called Bombshell. Bombshell was a giant dumpling that she made in a big steamer. It would be the size of a football. It took ages to steam. When it was cooked, or possibly before it was fully cooked, she would take it out, cut off the top couple of inches, and then hollow it out, leaving a shell about an inch thick. She would have been making a stew while the Bombshell steamed. Into the hollowed out dumpling she would ladle in the stew. Then she she would replace the top, reseal it, and steam again until everything was cooked through. This would then be taken out, placed in a big basin and cut up for dinner. The dumpling that was removed was not wasted. We would have it with jam for desert.
Amazed you managed to do so much after your trip home from the sunshine already. Great review of the Cosori Pressure Cooker. And, you cooked one of my favourite dishes ever! Mince and dumplings with the dumplings done in the oven exactly as you did. I confess to using veggie suet for many years despite us being carnivores. For some reason I find it more reliable in the rising process. Oh how we both know that feeling after being abroad and just craving fresh vegetables and real no nonsense comfort food. Even when we visited the grand kids in Germany I came home longing for fresh veggies, salad and fruit. Welcome home and well done on your holiday videos as well as the inventive cooking! x

Hi Mand and Ian, great to have you home safe and sound, enjoyed your holiday vlogs, brilliant, bless back in work straight away you are so hard working. Delicious recipe will be doing it this week. Keep them coming 💕💗
I think I have 4 pressure cookers. My husband used to watch the cooking shows on QVC. He loved to buy the kitchen equipment. He also loved to read cookbooks. He would sit in his recliner for hours reading the cookbook. When he retired he would stand over my shoulder and tell me how to cook things. Needless to say that didn’t go over to well with me so finally one day I got really aggravated and told him to cook and I left the kitchen. He was the main cook for years. Always trying different things which most of the time I liked but there were some things I just didn’t care for. I had to finally tell him not to use so much olive oil, too strong for me. And I didn’t care for rosemary sprinkled on my steaks. All I want on my steak is salt and a little pepper. I always remember my Dad’s response in restaurants when they asked you if you needed steak sauce. He’d ask “why is there something wrong with the steak”.😂😂😂😂the expression on the servers face was always hilarious. My pressure cooker I use now is my Ninja Foodie 8quart. I make pot roast in it and chili. Also I’ve made yogurt in it several times. My Foodie has the yogurt setting
Well done using your corsori I have a king pro pressure cooker 7.5ltr I find it brilliant it does all the same as yours except it does not do the thing you said you wanted to do with the chicken.
