Just came back from Japan a week ago! The three things I had to show were my:
1. COVID vaccine card (with 3 shots documented) or a recent (within 1 week I believe) negative COVID test.
2. Immigration form (asks details about your trip, how long you’re staying, from where, etc.)
3. Customs Declaration form (asks what you’ll be bringing or taking when leaving, I saw that it only asked in regards to things like high cost items, gold, weapons, etc.)
We were able to complete all of our information online and get clearance on our COVID cards within 1 hour of submitting. The QR codes like shown in this video are presented at arrival and makes the process so much quicker/easier! Hope this helps :)
