Hello Robbie, greetings from Peru 🇵🇪👋👋👋.... I like to watch your videos, and this time you were fishing in a beautiful creek. It was incredible that at 600mt of altitude you found those rainbows. In my case, here when I go to the highlands I have to start fishing in the creek at least from 2300mts 😂. You really had a lot of fun that fishing day. Congrats... before to say goodbye, I just want to invite you to watch my last video where I show some tiny balsa wooden minnows that I’m doing for my trout fishing. I called this lures Attila Trout Hunter, I hope you like them I I’ll appreciate to have your recommendations . Well, have excellent time and safe fishing...👋👋👋
Love trout fishing!! Don't care how or when they are caught lol!! spent 8 years in Alaska as a fishing guide AND it doesn't get easier not fishing for them lol
Thanks so much mate. WOW Fishing guide in ALaska... I bet you have an entire closet full of thermal clothing. LOL When I think Alaska I think snow capped mountains and VERY cold water. LOL Such a beautiful state.
Hi Dave thanks so much for your kind words. My great grandfathers name was David Alexander, he was a wonderful man. His wife was born in Scotland. Amazing!
I'll just cook my tea first and get back to this while I'm eating 👌 then I'll tell you how good this video will be I already know it's going to be great as just like all the other videos that you do 👌
@@robbiefishing it was worth the wait watching this mate beautiful Catch beautiful river stream you can't ask for anything else better. I hope you enjoyed your tea lol I know I watching this lol
Thanks so much Glen. I went trout fishing again today, that video will be up next week. I have a short trout video tomorrow night too. From here on in I will be trout fishing more and more over the next 8 weeks.
Hey Robbie I've just bought some strike tiger nymphs and some strike tiger jigheads and was wondering how you fish them in small creeks like this and in bigger holes/wider rivers thanks loving the content mate 👌
Enjoyed your show, but wanted to leave you with a little constructive criticism with respect to avidly promoting conservation of small wild trout. Catching small trout using treble hooks is not very advantageous to their survival after being released. Single small non-barbed hooks are highly recommend. Hope to see more videos from you soon with you catching more of these little beauties utilizing some flies with smaller non-barbed hooks, or maybe one of the small hook Trout Magnet lures. Thank you for your consideration. With kind regards, Polaris
Mikael Treppo, What’s needed is considerate people mindful of conservation of our wild streams who exercise commonsense, and proper catch and release practices of small wild trout so they can grow into large healthy wild trout for future generations to enjoy.
That river looks amazing. Wish we had a river like that over here in the uk. Sadly lure fishing for trout is not that popular in the uk. You can not lure fish for trout on most of the rivers, it’s all fly fishing
Have you ever caught a massive wild trout like the ones you see in trout farms that are I would guess one meter long that’s my guess I have never caught a big trout if you ever did have the chance to catch a big trout would you catch it and record it?
@@robbiefishing great to see a small water body have such a healthy population of fish. I used to fish a few streams in the Otways back in the 80s and would get good numbers of rainbow trout. One outing in the Wild Dog Creek we caught over 20, releasing most. Nowadays you're lucky to see any in the Otways. Fisheries tried stocking the creeks but the fishing pressure is just too great unfortunately. Shame
Hey Robbie I was wondering why you never use just a little hook and a scrubbie, I fished little streams like that on the weekend and caught lots of decent trout using just worms and it works all the time?
Hewy mate I do, I have a lot of videos on this channel of me drifting worms for trout. I like it after there's been a lot of rain., usually in the spring time.
Lovely session Robbie, it still baffles me how shallow of water you can catch those trout. And then that one hot spot 👌
Thanks mate. They really are amazing fish. I guess here in Australia, if they want to live here they need to adapt to our conditions. LOL
@TitansNM def not native to australia but maybe wild
Love catching up with your older ones cheers from grumpy
Thanks so much Grumpy. I sometimes look through my old videos for ideas as well. Haha

Thanks mate. Sure is worth it. Tassie is absolutely beautiful. I love it down there.
Cant believe you catch fish in such a small stream.
Thanks Vincent. I actually got in further downstream and the creek was bone dry. LOL
