Nancy's little adventure is something we hardly got in the TV series. This works well for her, but I felt sorry for her when the engine she found had just disappeared like that. If only we knew what happened to the pumping engine during the storm.
That sure was a good story. I love how Nancy was the star and I didn’t expect Stanley to disappear but maybe he’s still there, like in spirit form. At least he got “Sleeping Beauty” found.
Had a feeling that engine would be Stanley (The Railway Series character), but thanks to Duke being found, I see this story takes place during "Sleeping Beauty". Good continuity here. I'm just puzzled about how Stanley was moved out of the sheds, nowhere to be seen. But still, great job; I'm glad to see a story focused on Nancy. 🙂
A wonderful job on adapting this story. This played out really well. In this interpretation, it's interesting to see Nancy have a role here and for her to take part on "finding Duke". Even though she meant for Number 2/Stanley/Smudger to be saved. Only instead, his spirit help kinda guide her and the rescuers to find Duke instead in order to redeem himself one last time before he passes on. It's cool to see this as a combination of the RWS story and the TV episode Sleeping Beauty. This is a bit of a spooky, but sad and happy little story in a way. Well done on adapting this story. Keep up the great work and take care.
Very good work Sir! One of the things I loved about this story is that the engine Nancy discovered could be Smudger or Stanley depending on your headcanon. Knowing you, I'm glad you used Stanley. I've said it before but I'll say it again, as much as I love Smudger, it's good to know that Stanley, the original No. 2 created by Awdry himself, is still getting some recognition and his inclusion in this story just takes it to another level. Keep up the excellent work man!

The ground probably collapsed and swallowed him in, or his parts somehow withered away during a storm or landslide.
It’s nice to see Stanley being seen as the guiding force. Mike captures unbelievable charm every time.

Pretty sure it’s implying Stanley’s long since rusted away and fell to pieces. What Nancy saw and heard that night, was his spirit.
Ah yes! One of my favorite stories by the BuriedTruck! Can't wait to see how this was brought to life!
It’s nice to see Stanley The MSR engine in this story and I wonder what happened to Stanley since he disappeared in the story

Fantastic ghost story!
Great adaptation! It was nice seeing Stanley be used for once it seems each adaptation uses Smudger
I can't wait until tomorrow !!!
