Hello Scott, a fantastic video about a branch line in Ohio. The drone footage is great and the quality is good. The NS and CSX freight trains and the night shots are also fantastic. Thanks for showing and best wishes from Germany.
I used to work up in Connaught Ohio . Was one of my favorite places to watch trains. The Bessemer pulling iron ore up the hill was a sound of its own. I have a video on y tube of it in action.
60 y/o guy, worked industrial switching for 10 yrs USX Lorain...1 man remote for IRSS....Conductor & Engineer & Lead, 2 and sometimes 3 man crews for Lorain Northern...to each his own I guess... thought the music was perfect, a nice change from the bluegrass/country I usually hear in these type of videos.
There's probably no actual sound on the drone footage. Drones don't record sound so, when you do hear locomotive sound on his drone shots, it's recorded from the camera that's doing the trackside shots. In that yard, it's not possible to get a microphone close enough to hear anything . So at least it is a situation where you can mute the music and not miss any actual sound.

Nice ending!
What causes the paint to peel so much? It doesn't look that old and weather isn't that severe.
Yay, a new video.
5:45 Yet another demonstration of why it's important to stand well back while railfanning.
Do you know what the symbol was for that coke train?
METAL
Scott,
I like the video, but not the music. Ugh...
I wasn't a fan of the music either, but you know what? I turned the volume off...mind-blowing, isn't it?
