- Mutanjan (Zarda) Recipe Ingredients
Rice 2 Cups - Soaked For 1/2 Hour
Milk 1 Cup
Red Cherries 1 Cup
Sugar 1 & Half Cup
Ghee 1 Cup
Green Cardamom 5
Chum Chum 1 Cup
Khoya 1 Cup
Cloves 5
Red Food Colour 1/4 teaspoon
Green Food Colour 1/4 teaspoon
Yellow Food Colour 1/4 teaspoon
Pistachio 4 tablespoon
Raisin 2 tablespoon
Kewra Water 1/2 teaspoon
Almond 4 tablespoon
Coconut 2 tablespoon

Mama bear made this so easily i'm also going to try it this way that she put the serparate colours in different bowls. My colour never comes out at good as mama bears. Inshallah going to try her recipe

Although I am not a big rice fan, but that mutanjan looks like a delightfully delicious delicacy ! With the rose pink and read and the green and yellow colours, it reminds me of garden hues in springtime. Here we also add some canned pineapple chunks and orange rind for an exotic blend of flavours and frangrances.
That indeed looks delicious with khova and all !
