When we went to the grocery as an early teen, parents would give us quarters to play Ladybug and Mousetrap at the adjacent pharmacy. Only 2 cabs they had. Good times. Have both for Colecovision. Btw, Smurfs deserves on the list. I will die on that hill! lol loved Looping also.
I can't argue with your 3 arcade ports as that's what Colecovision was known for-bringing the arcade home! I would put Turbo in place of Smurfs though, just because of the expansion module 🤩
Absolutely agree with DK, Ladybug, and Zaxxon. I had limited exposure to the Colecovision back in the day, though. Prior to 1989, I spent most of my time playing on 2600, but my uncle had a Colecovision, and I remember playing a racing game quite a bit, but for the life of me, I can't remember the title (wasn't Turbo).
-Ladybug -cabbage patch kids adventures in the park (it was really good) -bump n jump -cosmic adventure Honorable (or just more) mentions to venture, looping, donkey Kong, Zaxxon! Etc. so loved that system!
Agree that these four are the most iconic. All four were release titles. But neither Zaxxon nor Smurfs is a “great” game. Breathtaking graphics for the time? Yes. But not great gameplay. Carnival and Pepper ll are better games. But I can’t say they are “iconic;” to this day, few outside of the Colecovision community have even heard of Pepper ll.
Dude, if you're ever around Kansas City, let me know! My first computer was a TI TI-99/4A, But the C64 was my next computer. I remember typing in code from a magazine way back then. Good times.

The ColecoVision deserves an entire Hall of Presidents.

Great list!

For me the first four that come to mind that I grew up with are DK, DKJr, GORF and Zaxxon. Honorable mentions for the Sam games and Cosmic Avenger

Turbo is a great choice for sure and definitely an iconic game
Played a lot of Time Pilot, Looping, Space Fury, and Mousetrap!
Coleco is one I never had but played the daylights out of Donkey Kong at my classmate's house
Gorf & Frenzy
Donkey Kong, Zaxxon, Mouse Trap, Turbo 😊😊😊

DK Jr Zaxxon
Very similar... Donkey Kong, Lady Bug, Smurf, and Venture.
Venture is sooooo ColecoVision!
@BrettWeissRetroGamer I was big into D&D back then, and Venture was "it" in the Arcades, and then... ColecoVision!
Carnival. Just kidding. Lol. Actually, it's a really good port.
Pepper II is the one game that I fire up on the CV the most. Next to Frenzy.
-Ladybug
-cabbage patch kids adventures in the park (it was really good)
-bump n jump
-cosmic adventure

@@boardgamesonthemoon Great list!
I also chose Zaxxon, DK, and Lady Bug. I can't argue with Smurfs as it is a great choice, but I would go with Venture for the final spot.
Turbo!
