FF is unavoidable. "almost FF" is great gameplay.
He figured out that he can't shoot the gun with explosive shells at close range. But running when they get too close was the less-optimal solution (switching to shotgun up close is the best answer).
Simon & _maybe_ Apsro are the only one's I'd want on a team.

In this episode:
- Doraleous (the real life marine) continues to walk directly in the line of fire of his team mates and hold onto dynamite too long,
- Simon runs towards the threats he is trying to run away from while wasting all of his best strikes on his own team mates,
- Neebs twiddles his thumbs and considers the meaning of life when threats charge towards him,
- Appsro continues to be the only qualified member of the group and stays on task while getting frustrated with the others.
God I love this channel!
Let's pass some kudos to Simon for that rail cannon strike at the end on the charger. He wasn't half as bad as I expected he would be.
And let's not forget appsro dive/shooting his way out of that charger that then fell on top of him 😂😂😂

@@AB-ft7ng if you watch the it slowly you can see top left on doras screen he had an orbital precision strike and placed it by the team. Simon only had the rail cannon and you saw it blow up the charger. It happened fast lol
i think he knew what he threw, because he said he killed the guy. I dont think they knew dora tossed one also and he did throw it where they were because charger was there also :P

Thick44 did get people killed, but he also pulled off some maneuvering miracles. Neebs does need some type of ADD MF to spice things up. We currently have three farmers and a NYC deli guy. We need a psycho degenerate PVP player in the mix. preferable someone with total disdain for order and the attention span of a mayfly

Apprso's dive to "avoid" the sentry gun got me good.
Also the joys of watching Simon forget his bullets explode as he shoots something at point blank range. 😂

They didnt realize it was Dora because you only see who killed you and Dora was the only one to die, so he just stayed silent.
The moment you guys said to split into two teams ...I was like "welp they are goners.." but to your credit, you did much better than I thought you would have. Thanks for the lol's always!
Tips: Splitting up almost never works especially for main missions. You may want to drop the "A and B story" thing for the sake of mission success. Also, spamming the dive button gets you out of trouble when surrounded or slowed by enemies.
My boy Simon comes in clutch with an orbital railcannon, killing a charger, while Dora kills himself, and endangers the squad with an errant precision strike, and neebs goes and blames my old son for it.
Neebs, you gotta get with the times.
Simon has stepped up his game.
And Dora is now found to be wanting... Like holding his grenade until the fuse burns up...
I feel you guys just need to spend a mission or two on easy difficulty where you wander the map, loot a bit, and practice your strats/get a feel for your weapons.
You guys got the mojo... And you do take it seriously. We may have only seen four missions but you've been at it a bit... But keep at it.
Learn which tool is a screwdriver and which is a hammer.

With helldivers being as popular as it is, have you guys considered making an Helldivers friend (battlefield friends style) animation? I think the games creativity and only in battlefield moments, could be fun.

I've never played this game, but I feel like we keep learning over and over gain that you shouldn't split up. Also, Appsro killing the charger on top of him was so cinematic!
Splitting up gets objectives done and samples found more often, so it is better, tho minimum 2 man parties.

Canonically there are fans under the post-game elevator and under the observation deck specifically to make the capes flow and increase the apparent heroism of Helldivers.

Its good for simon to have the highest leveled character to help balance out his lack of skill

If your part is good enough, splitting into duos to look for more samples and objectives is a good idea. Usually the only way to scour a map

I dream of having a helldivers squad like you guys! Needs crew has always made me wish I had a group to game with. I’m loving this game so much and playing with some randoms has been surprisingly fun. Always feels so epic diving around and dodging explosions. Love the helldiver series
Just a small tip but if you tag the enemy patrol you can keep track of their pathing much easier, especially in the thick fog. Great video as always 💜

Dora during extract at 22:06 - 22:18 is a total vibe in this game honestly.

Simon, what you have there is probably the most versatile call-in weapon in the game. It's armor piercing and explosive, just gotta remember the last part and don't shoot it at things that are in your face or you'll explode with them.
I think the Ministry of Defense needs to commission a Clown Corps of the Helldivers.
That aside, it is fun watching you all learn what stuff does in the game.
