Leah! Youre not giving yourself enough credit! Most people would love to learn about ingredients and the actual science about WHY the products work. But most estheticians don't talk to us the way you do. They don't explain the actual products to us and let us make our own informed decisions about our skin that only we know best. Most talk to us like we are shallow and just tell us "You need THIS $400 eye cream instead of this $90 one because you REALLY don't want those crow's feet to be getting any bigger, right sweetie!?" At least that's my experience. It took me SO long to find an esthetician in my state and I actually ended up making a plastic surgeon and his nurse my "estheticians"! And I don't ever plan on getting any plastic surgery, they just also happen to offer facials, skin care, etc in their office! One esthetician that I had a consultation with actually had the audacity to say "No, you don't want that, you need to get such and such" I don't even remember the name of the procedure but she went on a whole 30 minute presentation of how I'm not looking for skincare and that I really really am looking fpor this $7500 treatment that will jumpstart my collagen to start reproducing and that takes 4 to 6 weeks to MAYBE see the results that the ONE person in her pamphlet had. Not everyone is like you Leah!
