Honestly anthony is an actual good reviewer bc he mentions all of the good things about it but also mentions all of the bad things to really give us a real review
1:00 that is 100% exactly what a toy reviewer should do! So many other TH-camrs don’t step up and state obvious flaws on action figures they review because they fear they’ll lose sponsorship with companies... you are the exact opposite Anthony. If a figure sucks, you’re going to be honest and say it sucks. If a figure rocks, you’re going to be honest and say it rocks! I’ve been watching your reviews for over a year now, and you’ve actually made me look at action figures in a way I never have before. We need more (if not all) toy reviewers to step up and do the same! Keep up the amazing work bro!
When you mentioned the feet issue with colossus, I thought well that hopefully won't be that noticeable when posing him, but then you showed how tiny his fists are and I was like (☉_☉).
Love it. Hearing: "I'm not NOT gonna talk about it." is so refreshing and helpful. So many other reviewers are so 'forgiving' since they only want to earn pinpoints from companies. I don't know why this channel hasn't got more subscribers! So good and knowledgeable reviews from a fan FOR the fans. This is the Colossus I've been looking for.
Why does everyone call this a "Jim Lee Colossus"? It is a "Dave Cockrum/John Byrne Colossus" but wearing a "Jim Lee style" belt... sort of. First, Jim Lee gave Colossus completely different wrist bracers/bands. They were longer, covering the backs of his hands with a parallel extension that almost reached his elbow. They were also a slimmer profile, and mostly red with thin gold/yellow piping along their outer edges and segments. Second, Jim Lee gave Colossus different boots with no yellow at the top of the knee cover. They were again, mostly red with thin gold/yellow piping in bands right above and right below the knee (similar to Rogue's boots). Lastly, the points on the shoulder covers were squared off in Jim Lee's depiction. Now regarding the belt. On this figure it is essentially the Cockrum design with a bigger buckle to accommodate an "X" logo (Colossus never wore an "x" on his costume until Jim Lee's X-men #1. In fact neither did Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Psylocke or Jubilee). Even so, this belt does not match Jim Lee's art either. Though Whilce Portacio, who pencilled Uncanny X-men at the same time ( Which featured Colossus more often as a "gold team" member), often drew Colossus with a belt featuring a square "X" buckle. So the takeaway here is that, as great as this figure is, it does not entirely correctly depict Colossus from any era. Hasbro owes us at least two more releases based on this figure. Preferably with better feet and forearms.
As always, great review. Love how you tackle the issues people might usually ignore (myself included) because of their nostalgia glasses. 90's x-men figures will always have a high demand, but that is not an excuse for shortcuts and bad design. Also, wasn't ready for 14:32 lol. Coming from you, that was funny but equally scary.
The "belt" tricked you (Well including my self)... That's why some fashion designer says "if you're going to wear a suit and you are short, don't wear a belt or else you will looks shorter"
Wow man I love your colossus review. You're one of the best reviewers man. Love it. Didn't realize the issues until you pointed them out!!! Keep up the good work!
Hasbro really loves their booted feet for some odd reason. Most 90s Marvel characters just don't have booted feet, and especially no Spider characters EVER have booted feet (except maybe Noir), yet Hasbro keeps giving their figures the same old Timberlands over and over and over again. Drives me nuts.
You reviewing this set is exactly why I love this channel!!!!! I have the same gripes with both figures, especially colossus’s feet and his dainty hands lol
Your rating system is really good and un-bias. A good figure is a good figure that's not something exclusive to any one company. You give us a good scale/review to judge that on without us needing the figure in our hands. I've said it before my inner child collector inside appreciates the look at all the cool figures. Current me appreciates the effort, mechanics, and anatomy you discuss and explain to us. Keep up the sick vids Anthony!
I love how you cover issues everyone else oversees. I only watch your reviews, everyone else just gushes over how amazing they are you actually REVIEW them.
Yeah that Colossus’s proportions are horrendous so I’m in the process of customizing my own Colossus by mixing the Marvel Select Colossus with this marvel legends one it will make him halfway between this legends Colossus and select Colossus’s height which I think he needed a boost and it will replace those stocky calf’s and ugly feet and fat forearms while still allowing for the interchangeable hands. My Colossus gonna be sweet when I’m done!
Anthony, amazing review. Just received my colossus/juggernaut two pack. The colossus's feet are really bad. But the fist hands I think I found a solution: when you put the fist hand in the arm just insert half of the peg in... The hands will appear bigger... Tell me what you think. Thanks
I think one time I did recognize I was like " he give this and this the same score " but my brain registered " for this price point " so I didn't bother asking how are you rating these things but it is nice for you to clarify, so that's a Like
My 2 FAVORITE characters. Had to buy it. Personality I bought this mainly for Jugg. Bcuz the baf cost to much. But since I got all the colossus figure had to get this.
Anthony there you go again, every one knows Colossus used crock boots, Hasbro only forgot the Hello Kitty button on the left one that was given to him by Charles Xavier on the classic Uncanny X-men 186 The Road to Manhood 4 of 4, when colossus lost his virginity at the age of 47 (he was a late bloomer)!!! Man I wanted to play around with the small hands get stuck into small places but they are just bad (not actually the hands but the forearms as you said). I like them, I preordered them and I don't think I'm going to regret it. Thank you for the excellent review.
I was excited for this two pack but after getting a look at them, I still feel the marvel select versions are better. I know they are a little big but it doesn’t bother me. These characters are supposed to be big so I think they look fine with legends. Although juggernaut is ridiculous, I’m willing to accept it because the sculpt is so good.
I agree Anthony....the sculpting compared to classic Toybiz ML in my opnion is mediocre at best with the majority of their figures..not all but most. They are getting better slowly. Very slowly lol. I feel your pane man. All in all, still an ok figure. I own it. Thank goodness I got a discount on it. Keep up the good reviews Sir...Just wanted to let you know I've been following you for quite some time....And I like the fact that Hasbro may fool the world with their figures...But they don't fool you and I. Take care and keep up the honest reviews. TTYL.
Great video , as always I really appreciate your honesty in your reviews! You may seem to judge harshly by some viewers but I find them very fair. No matter how much you personally love a figure you always give it straight. Same with figures you dislike. Really would've loved your take on the last Mattel DC Multi verse Killer Kroc wave.
Hasbro should make the Colossus before he transformed, Piotr "Peter" Nikolaievitch Rasputin. in his white singlet and jeans. If can make 1 more after transformed but shirtless as in episode RED DAWN. then make that Dark Star woman
I just picked mine up today @walmart! It was the only marvel legends two figure pack, all the ML’s are gone!! I was very lucky to find it expecting nothing in the 1st place.
I can live with those flaws because the figure is awesome overall. Most people who see it are drawn to that super shiny silver paint and that rollicking red and yellow costume. 😀
I rewatched your Juggernaut BaF review yesterday, it's a nice coincidence that you uploaded this video today because now I remember everything you said about the other one and it adds a lot to this new review. I like the new helmet, I don't know if they also changed the way his head sits on the body but with that new helmet it looks less gappy and it's even better.
I just purchased mine from BBTS as well as the Deadpool 80th anniversary they are almost about to be shipped out and I am so happy once they arrive I will do a review btw I’m sort of a newbie to TH-cam reviews and all that good stuff and good video keep doing you ✌️

I want to know how Hasbro can make an awesome beefy sculpt for Omega Red and not reuse ANY OF IT. Freaking Hasbro...
It's how they milk us. Make mistakes and fix them so we buy again and again
Ryan Damn good point
Grim Reaper true, but they also have sacrificed quality many times by beating the dead horse of the Bucky mold.
@@Ryan_TheBold the Bucky Cap makes me wanna cry. the only figure i have on that body is the first appearance Daredevil
@@Ryan_TheBold lmao the Bucky mold was boring as soon as they made it, sooo basic

Maybe Hasbro and Crocs have a deal requiring the figures to wear Crocs foot wear.
Superheroes can't fight crime without wearing their Battle Crocs! New from Hasbro!
