just guessing but Juggernaut's smaller opened holding hand I think is for Colossus' fist, He catches it in their fight....

Having the Select Colossus and Juggernaut, I didn't think I needed these, cause they were the best ever. But I just can't pass up this iconic Juggernaut look. The colour scheme, less textured look, the whited out eyes..it just beats out the Select one.
And it's cool we got the round X belt to represent the Jim Lee Colossus. I do prefer the detailing and size of the Select, but I really dig the shinier metallic look on this one.
Both are great for a Marvel vs Capcom display
Great review sir. Will be getting this set as soon as I see it on the shelves. My only nitpicks are that Colossus should have come with an alternate yelling/gritted teeth head & that the helmet damage on Juggy seems to be exploding from the inside out as the edges are blown outward, shoulda done it in a way that makes it looks like it was blasted from the exterior & bent inwards. Only MU beings I can see damaging Jugs helmet like that would be Thor, the Hulk, Gladiator, Hyperion, Silver Surfer & Sasquatch.

I'm pretty sure that the helmet is meant to look like it was grabbed and ripped open, which is why it's blasted outwards. Not sure, just what it looks like to me

The biggest reason and pro for the new Juggernaut helmet/head was because Hasbro listened when everyone was complaining about the huge gap the BAF one had in the back (which was terrible) I'm a fan of this new one by far!

That paint on colossus should of been on silver samurai, and hell yeah im popping on this! Im replaceing my toy biz colossus and select juggy!

juggernaut is very cool but colossus is the better figure in my opinion defiantly gonna get my hands on it.
Lasted only a month before Walmart clearanced them out at $35. Glad I waited. Wish I held off on the Big 3 80th. They’re now $15.
Will this be available at wal mart as well? Wal Mart is 45 mins away and the only store around here.....I'm just have.g a hard time deciding which.juggernaut and colossus I want. I don't have many legends. I was in high school or 8th grade when they first started coming out just wasn't collecting them. Now I collect them and wanting to get the uncanny x men figures.

My thoughts exactly. Hell their Colossus blows Legends out of the water as well. Both select Juggernaut and Colosus scales in well with Legends figures as well, so I say stick with Select for both.
I disagree, I owned both of them at a point, and the select juggernaut sucks. No articulation to lose him at all. And all the texture on the figure makes him hard to fit into a classic display
@@Jayjayjray Juggs doesn't need a hell of alot of articulation as he has a smaller amount of poses that he even looks right in if you're only planning on displays. Also, its a matter of knowing how to place your figures in order for them to look right together. My X-men displays are a mix of Select and Legends, you wouldn't be able to tell they're two different lines by how I have them set up.
ReeceHoward06 I disagree. Juggernaut should at least be able to get into a running pose, or at least something other that standing straight up. Also the overly dramatic texture they put on the figure makes him look weird. That makes him hard to fit into a classic xmen display
Nice review. But I'm going to pass on this one. I actually prefer my BAF Juggernaut with the darker paint. I also like my Colossus from Marvel Select better. He's like the same height as Juggernaut.
Vintage X Collectibles Gotta agree. I actually chose the Marvel Select Juggy and Colossus over this two pack because for me they have better attention to detail.

Online retailers are the best way to go. You pay same as retail prices depending on who you order with. Amazon Gamestop and Hasbro pulse are best places for preorders
These figures look great but I'm still going to stick with the Marvel Select versions of them. They just look so beefy and thick next to my Marvel Legends...

Bro Marvel Select got these figures right the first time, and theyre great! Hasbro has already released BAF Juggernaut and releasing this version is a slap on the face to the fans that spent A LOT OF MONEY to complete the BAF!!!
I will probably pick this up, moreso for the Colossus, but that Juggernaut's quite nice, too.

"JUGGERNAUT WILL FLATTEN YOU!!!!" Great set. Great review. Personally, I still think the best Colossus that has been released was the 2004 Toy Biz one. But this one was also good. Just not a huge fan of the face sculpt. Also, it would have been nice to get Colossus in his jeans and white muscle t-shirt (like his first appearance) instead of his original costume. Overall though, this is a great set with two fan favorite characters.

Wish you were able to compare to the Marvel Select versions. Even if you don't collect Select, their Juggy and Colossus are must-haves and can work with ML.
Nope. Those selects are way too big.
Select figures 98% of the time are too big to fit in with Legends.
They do fit in well. I have them displayed along with a few Legends Xmen. Its all about knowing how to mix and match which figures. Wish I could post a pick here to show how uts done.
@@ReeceHoward06 No need to post a pic. We all know how it looks. And it DOESN'T look good at all. Selects belong with Selects. Legends belong with Legends.

Great set. If the Colossus is the same why change the feet. Would of been nice if the paint apps for Juggernaut were battle worn. I saw your comments on DW's channel that must be a world exclusive of all those 80th anniversary sets.

I pulled my juggernauts arms out completely straight out without the arms popping off
The left leg and right arm of mine pop of whenever I change the pose. I'm constantly reattaching them.
Perhaps they didn't the sculpt the bands on the hands so they can reuse those for a future Strong Guy and Blob.
