Looks fun! My 3 yo son uses a little point and shoot and there's something utterly precious about everything he photographs. These kinds of cameras take us back to the idea of moments and memories > the feed

I've been drawn to this recently myself. Even though I probably take far more pictures now (using my phone) than I ever did in the pre-phone days, it's much less intentional. I rarely even go through and look at the photos I took. They just sit in my phone storage aside from one or two I decide to share. Photography has become almost disposable. I think there's value in having a device that only takes pictures and was built for that specific purpose. And of course we have our "nice cameras" for that but there's also value to having something you can just grab and stuff in your pocket when you're heading out to capture those casual moments without making a big production out of it.
It's cool that this model has a viewfinder and manual settings! Many compacts back in the day didn't have those.
Thanks so much for sharing your input you make some awesome points here about being intentional and I think that’s so important! I also think photography in some ways has become disposable and nothing is ever done with the content. Thanks again for supporting the channel with your wisdom 👊
I have a canon power shot 520 I got at a flea market for $8 and it’s a blast! Sometimes it’s about the fun not the specs! What is the canon in the thumbnail? That looks like a beautiful camera!
I totally agree! Fun > Specs a lot of the time, the one in the thumbnail is just an AI generated image of the Powershot A530 :)

I'm sorry, dude, but you bait and switched this video. That title card is really misleading and really made it look like you were reviewing some "retro" canon 35mm point and shoot film camera and not this powershot. I don't think that's particularly cool. Just say and show what it is in the title and title card instead of clickbaiting.
