You are a life saver. I'm packing to go out of town for a family reunion, and I'm responsible for the memorial backdrop, but I can't locate my stand and I've been stressing until I decided to see if I could make one. Thanks to you, I'm running to get supplies 1st thing in the morning before getting on the road.
First thing is I really like you channel I have been looking for a way to make a backdrop. I came across your video and went out and bought all the things I need to make my own backdrop
I just built one for my daughter's birthday party. We are going to using it for pictures. It turned out great, but with a lot of taller people in the family I need to add about an extra 12-18 inches. That'll easy to do as well. Thanks for the idea.
Hey, Thanks. Success! I followed your easy instructions. I also obtained 2 additional shorter (3ft) pieces to insert in place of 5 ft pieces for when I need the backdrop to fit into narrower spaces. The hardest part was getting someone to cut my “non waterproof” Plumbing PVC ( not Electrical PVC)...which is less expensive at Lowe’s.. Tremendous Thanks!! I’ll def share your video with others.
Thank you backdrops are so expensive this was a life saver I’m gonna defiantly use this video to make my backdrop 💕for my TH-cam channel and will be giving you credit when I reveal it thank you so much . It’s an awesome diy for us small youtubers on a budget
Just spent $38 today to make this backdrop but I don’t regret it it was way more then I planned on spending but I have a shoot tomorrow so this is last minute I’m still grateful for the tutorial
Hi, did you use the same measurements for your backdrop or went longer ? Have to make on for a wedding as well. But the backdrop will be behind the wedding table
Thanks so much. Now I know exactly what I did wrong. I didn't have a center section for extra support like you did and it was extremely loose too. Now I know exactly how to fix it. Using this along with some solid black zero light blackout curtains that you can get in Walmart, I'll have a very cheap and very professional looking backdrop for my video podcast.
THANK YOU 🎉 I'm hosting a babyshower in a school lunchroom (its small & cute) for 50+ ppl and was freaking out of how I was gonna attach the backdrop to cement walls. Added bonus, I can attach the balloon garland! 🎈 I will make mine a bit taller tho 😊
I wished I saw this video when she posted it..project cost $25. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and today i managed to hit up a Lowes...in total everything cost $70 before tax plus they don't cut pvc pipes 😑🤦♀️. I was shown a pvc self cutter which cost $14.53 of course before taxes. in total $84.53 around $90 after taxes. This backdrop have to go up for my aunts bridal party.. Thanks for this video🙃
I saw this pop up when i was away from wifi and couldn't wait to watch this one. Sorry so late but just getting caught up with notifications..I was looking to order a backdrop so when i saw the title i figure let me see bc i would love to do this cheaper vs ordering a kit off of amazon but under twenty five is even better to me! Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
i used this technique yesterday (im in the UK) cost me less than £20 for the pipes, fittings and a small hack saw to cut to my specific requirements. Brilliant idea. thank you very much indeed X
Thank you! I just went to Home Depot! I made the same backdrop for my son when he on zoom calls so mine is a lot smaller but perfect for him when he’s sitting at the desk 😀
I want to make one that's 7' tall so it can double as a room divider. I'm thinking I might do it in two sections so I could just use one section if I want. It's primarily for taking photos to post sales items online, as I need to liquidate more than half of my household. Thank You for listing the materials for yours & explaining it all so well. ☮️🙏🏼
Thank you so much!! Your video is awesome and super helpful! I’m putting together one for a baby shower so this helped me know exactly what to do and buy.
Hi Jess, I love your video! Just had questions: 1) what kind of fabrics can be hung on this stand? 2) how do you keep fabric on stand? Are clamps needed?
Thank you so very much for this DIY project!!! I’m planning to participate in a craft fair next month and wanted an inexpensive stand/hanger for my 6 foot banner. Hope this will be sturdy enough to hold!!! 🤞🏾
You are a ray of sunshine!! Great personality! I LOVE DIYs!! Easy and cost effective! Nice job! I'm so happy to connect! Can't wait to see more of your channel! 🤗
Hi I'm new to your channel ☺️ and I thank God for finding your channel. I'm going to make this back drop for my granddaughter's 8th birthday ☺️ so I thank you for sharing ☺️ I love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, super simple...thanks so much for this DIY video! I have a wedding to decorate for next month and will most definitely be making this super easy and inexpensive backdrop! Thanks again! YOU ROCK! 🤗
Hello. This is truly a great idea. I'm hosting a Christmas party at my home. And i wanted to do a backdrop without it being so expensive. What dimensions does this one end up being?
Instead of a back drop, I wonder if it would hold some extra clothing I don't wanna part with??? My second bedroom doesn't have a closet, this would be perfect!!
Great tips I was thinking of doing one for future vlogs in my channel. PVC is so helpful they can do so much. I actually made some work out equipment on my channel out of pvc lol
So I got the pipes they wouldn't cut them for me some Im having my husband cut them. My main question is how did you attach fabric over it and what size?
Fill the bottom T PVC with sand and place the end cap for extra extra stability
Black women too smart 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m finna try this
How did it turn out?

Thank you smart lady. My stand came out perfectly, took me 5 min
I wish you added the actual backdrop so we can get a feel on how it will hold
use glue in the joints
@@kluv7139 but if you’re wanting to keep this for several celebrations or events, you can’t transport it from place to place by adding glue.
@@balloonstunes2675 yes you can
She just did and all you have to do is do your own decorations. Research on how just like she did.
@@tishatisha3693 thank you,
Thank you soooo much. It is going to be great. I was actually excited to learn the middle bar for stability.
Just made this this evening. Turned out perfectly. Thanks!

Hi, did you use the same measurements for your backdrop or went longer ? Have to make on for a wedding as well. But the backdrop will be behind the wedding table
I'm planning to use this idea as well for a wedding backdrop; backdrops are so expensive. My only concern is the footing and how long it is to hide.
@@donnadavis-curry4299 I used a 3 way joint and covered the base with floral arrangements
