It's a complete joke, have a 08 focus, it failed on 1 link on front wheel so took it to local garage to get it fixed , but mechanic called me and showed us 2 other links & a shock gone which wasn't picked up on test, went back to NCT centre and told the guy there and all he said it was just the 1 Link that they found they were interested in (a visual), got cert for the year, then got other work done after
What about the perfectly good cars they fail. Thats a bigger concern. Lights being out of focus is a common one when they want to fail a car. Theres all sorts of reasons for this. One of their mates told them to fail your car for a vendetta or maybe they want to sell you another car...the list of reasons is long.
