- [Recorded February 2012; Featuring Dieselducy] This is one of the weirdest elevator setups I've come across to date. First of all, why are there separate controllers? I didn't see any mention of which button called which elevator(s), but only one elevator serves the top floor so it must be the reason for the odd system.

0:34 I do like the mirrors on the doors too
That's why there are 2 call buttons. That second one puts priority on that elevator that serves 13.
I think you’re right. My question is why did Hilton not bother to put labels on the different buttons to tell people which button is for which elevator?
I think I heard someone say nine, too.
5:09 2 elevators.
Destination disbatch would be the only way to fix that problem.
My goodness me... Ya'll are saying "new controller", "more elevators", "bigger elevators"... This is a beautiful old classic hotel. Take a deep breath. The elevator will come. Enjoy the beautiful hotel.
Go to room 1046
I take them for the first time!
The Four Points Sheraton has 3 elevators, 2 controllers, and the now Holiday Inn (was a Courtyard Marriott) has 4 elevators, 2 controllers, but service this bad, and elevators serving only certain floors, nope.
This =IS= bad service.
Adding in more elevators would help...
This reminds me of an elevator i tried to film at a 28-story Marriott around Greenbelt, MD, but i couldn't even film them as they have even WORSE service than this. For all 28 floors, there's just 1 bank of only 2 elevators, making people have to wait in such a long ass line (extending all throughout the main level) for hours, just to use the damn elevators! Ridiculous!
Imagine if one of those broke, then just with only 1 working elevator, it could take HOURS to complete the trip back to the lobby.
+ElevatorMan5482 ElevExperiencing Productions They should ride the service elevators and give the staff an attitude for having a perfectly good reason to ride them and resist getting kicked out. The longest I had to wait for an elevator was 8 minutes.
They should have Thyssenkrupp Destination Dispatch.
Someone definetly said 9. I have very good hearing.
No one didn't got off at 9. The guy got off at 2.
agreed with your description. coolest albeit slowest elevatore ride was @ the sunsphere. took 4 minutes almost to go 110 feet up. was like that @ worlds fair though so meh lol
They need otis compass
Late comment but agreed Otis compass will definitely help with this horrible call distribution
That is definitely the worst elevator service I have ever seen!!!
How about more elevators and bigger elevators (perhaps 6?)
Just taking a page from Marriott.
lol one time i was like dude those are door then i realized i was a mirror
that guy in that hat is funny!!!!!!

Um... First of all, I think they're too darn slow. They're not holding up right. They need need more than just 3 elevators.
