Kind of like the Omni in New Haven. There is only one elevator that serves the parking garage beneath out of 3 elevators, and that same elevator also serves guest floors. Needless to say, the stairs get a lot of use.
Hey thats not bad compared to one of the elevators I had to wait for. It was on a 10 story hotel and my suite was on floor 10. It was a 10 story hotel (including lobby, mezzanine, ballroom, and CocoKey "Lanai" Level), and it had 2 elevators 2 ELEVATORS 2, and the controllers were Westinghouse from the late 1970s, so that was nothing. I was waiting at the Lanai level for ten minutes for the elevator to come in the middle of the night. Building Specs: Number of floors: 11 Number of elevators: 3 (2 traction, 1 hydraulic) Number of staircases:
that place needs GIGANTIC Otis series 7 traction elevator with center 2 speed doors the current brand's probably dover with left/right 2 speed doors... If I were workin' for OTIS I would come into this hotel and mod all the elevators with OTIS compass and put a giant OTIS series 7 in the back w/ center 2 speed doors.
Cherry City Elevators OOO I GOT AN IDEA! KONE makes some MAD GOOD elevators even their hydraulic elevators are good! How about they install a Polaris destination dispatch system on these elevators and put KONE KSS 600 floor indicators. They can keep the cab, motor, and shaft, but just put destination dispatch and the hotel will be good
KONE is my #1 favorite elevator company because they only make traction elevators and plus my favorite DD system is kone Polaris because their elevators go up to 3400 ft/min making it the perfect choice for all highrise buildings so KONE should upgrade the controllers and put destination dispatch systems on them.
And plus the elevators in the video are Dover I can tell by the design of the fixtures and floor counter so a KONE Polaris destination system would be MUCH better.
Not only does this place has not enough elevators they also don't have A lot of room for crowds. They need to install more elevators if not another bigger elevator.
Fantech0104 crating more space for an elevator or making it bigger is a massive undertaking. It's not an easy job to do at all. You would have to cut into rooms or gut the whole place. It's not worth it at all and it costs more money. They are better off with ThyseenKrupp destination dispatch as a mod for these things
If I was manager of this hotel, I would install NOT modernize but install 6 KONE, 6 OTIS, 6 Schindler, and 6 ThyssenKrupp destination dispatch elevators
@@DieselDucy who would wanna wait 10 minutes for an elevator to come to you? Not me because 10 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time for waiting for an elevator to come to you
This hotel needs more elevators or this building just needs a MASSIVE renovation to get more elevators. In Hilton hotels I’ve stayed at in my lifetime, I haven’t had a bad experience. This particular hotel probably has good rooms, but lacks accessibility in a BIG way.
Seriously u don't need to hold the open door button for people to get out. there's a sensor in the door that detects people so that it holds the door open. did u not know that? And lol why do u always break your camera at the end?
Go to room 1046
Room no 1046
5:09 2 elevators.

I love the design on the door in the basement. Also I think I heard someone say nine, too.
These both are the same controls
yeah.
@@DieselDucy like one goes up to 13 that’s my lucky number

I know what you’re talking about...
I like how you got Jacob doing the peace sign.
I rode these about a week ago I know someone who works here who worked at Walmart with me.
3:46 looked like someone was writing a love letter to the elevator
yep.
Any update or new video of those elevators? Post it on TH-cam if you do.
There is a elevator in a hotel in moncton new brunswick that need at least 4 elevators!
Floor 12 is not a Guest Floor. Floor 12 is the Congress Room.
But now I come to realize that it’s just the elevator doors, but they look very beautiful elevator doors
Yep
thats So Weird
But A Nice Elevator

technicalboy 3000 Otis would have been terrible here. ThyssenKrupp should add some more elevators with the new Traditional.

They need more installation elevators in this hotel
They do
@@DieselDucy yeah they do
How long did you wait to go down on the top floor

they need thyssenkrupp destination dispatch
OM G that's an international system. Anything that's destination dispatch related will work a lot better 4 this place

Fantech0104 They could also make the other 2 elevators go up to the 13th floor if they mod them to destination dispatch
If they are on seperate controllers they can't work together.. and that will make things take way longer
Dieselducy that elevator is a ThyssenKrupp
It appears that for those that are had enough of waiting, they say "screw that, were taking the stairs."

definitely!!

Cool32216 you're an idiot
Cool32216 It's called being a gentleman
The door sensor doesn't always work
they should make the door close faster
The other two elevators are superstitious so won't stop on the 13th floor! These really need destination dispatch.
Anjasomc They need to extend the other 2 elevators to the 13th floor
what lift compinany is this
ThyseenKrupp

Convince them to get tk destination dispatch.
i learned that most hotels “close” button doesnt work.
some do some dont.

put 2 more elevators put them all on same controler and have a faster ride.

were people watching the NCAA tournament
I woulda taken the stairs if i wasn't on the top floors
5 elevators would help.
