Nice video. Need to do this soon, so this will be a big help. What exactly did you use to replace your fuel lines? Did you get it at a local parts store?
I think I had a few sizes of hose already in my cupboard from all my past German vehicles. But if I hadn't, I would try the local parts store first, then online Porsche suppliers. Once I had to resort to a specialty online hardware supplier for a really unusual hose - that was for a sailboat.
Hey, maybe you can lern me something. This is the 1987 944S and it has twin-cam. Is this the same engine that came in the 944S2 in 1989 but whith 3.0 liter. Is yours a 2.5 or 2.7 Liter. Or is your engine a VW engine.
Hello . I have some questions I want to ask you about my own car. I would really appreciate if you help. I changed the crankshaft of my car.but after I changed the crankshaft, I realized that many errors occurred in my vehicle unrelated to the problem. There was no problem after the car was built, but there was only a small misfire.and after connecting the vehicle to the device, it was understood that there was an error in the 3rd cylinder. When I lifted the rocker cover, we realized that one side of the spring belonging to the 3rd cylinder was protruding.and after we fixed this problem, we started the tool.but many irrelevant 10 -12 errors appeared in my vehicle as =(knock sensor-abs - throttle lower limit could not be determined- turbo pressure regulator error-ECS-high emission ) but none of these errors have anything to do with the repair done. the fault light is on every time my car is started now.and my car do not eats gas almost too hard What do you think could be the reason? I would be glad if you help me.
I haven't gotten into replacing an actual crankshaft or camshaft, but all sorts of errors can potentially be thrown if you don't get the timing exactly right between the crankshaft and camshaft.
I had the same problem, getting that gasket to stick in the corners, I wouldn't think gasket glue would be required except in that area.
Hopefully you respond😂 but i notice near the strut tower you have a capped off line at 2:16 and mine has the same line capped off. What is it?
How did you refinish your valve cover? Paint or powder coat?
