One thing i am going to point out is that there are 2 classes of dual sports, 1: plated dirt bikes, 2: the more "normal" version, heavier bike for road stability, less peppy engine for longevity and less maintenance. the 230 is a dual sport for someone that likes riding slow, tight trails far into the mountains. the 701 is a great bike, and throw some knobby tires on it and its a great dual sport. Most of what you compared here was tires, you can throw tires as good as the dirt bike knobbies on both the dual sport and the super moto and get almost similar performance on the trails you rode in the video. The comparison between these bikes is a power to weight to longevity ratio. Or how will they do on tight single track vs dirt roads vs highway. one side you have a monster light trail machine you have to repair every 100 hours and on the other side you have a trail capable machine that you can go 20,000+ miles between and major service repairs. I did like that you used the 230 (i currently have) and the 701 (my dream machine). both bikes are great dual sports for different needs. and wallets, lol. I don't want to be rude or demotivate you with your videos but this was more a tire comparison. Keep going man and good luck 😃
I once had a bike but got rid of it because the radiation caused by my microwave and the bikes smoke canceled out the 5g protection a microwave supplies. Cyrus do your research before shtting on people!
i absolutely agree that tires make a huge difference and i will defiantly throw some knobbies on the 701 at some point in time. This video was really just to show how poorly a SM setup preforms off road compared to duel sports because that is something i couldnt find too much of. In the future i also plan on doing some more off road with the super moto set up
This was a super interesting comparison. However, I think a rider with who are more used to high-powered bikes on the Husky fitted with more offroad capable tires would have no trouble doing this loop in 2:06 (or maybe even less).

Actually I owned one of those would say mixed opinions, yes would go about it again. My microwave just got replaced so im giving it a quick minute👍👍
