The transformation is extraordinary. So did that of the one thief who asked Jesus to remember him when he is at his kingdom. That man got salvation in the last moment lying on his own cross seeing Jesus at the most humanly indignified moment. Most of us forget to call on Jesus when we have lost all hope..

I love the look on Gaius’s face so much. That look of confusion, like “what on earth could make you throw away what you have?” And the conviction in Matthew’s face, like “it’s not enough and it will never be enough if I don’t follow Him”.
I’m curious, do you also consider dolls and toys to be graven images? Because those are closer to the Bible’s definition of an idol than an actor trying his best to portray Jesus to a generation that often has no idea who Jesus is. Yes, this is not what Jesus looked like, but there’s no way we could possibly have one image of what He looked like that is the same for everyone. Everyone has their own idea of what Jesus looks like, and The Chosen tries to help some people who’ve never heard of Him have an idea of who He is. No one expects this actor to look exactly like Jesus.

It's believed Mark is actually the first Gospel, Matthew is just the first listed. It's similar to how, in the Old Testament, Job was the first written, but Genesis is the first to appear.
Mathew comes first in the physical Bible but Mark was written first historically. Either way, it is heavily symbolic and significant. It is one of those dumfounding passages. It is just so alarming how out of nowhere Jesus appears and says 'follow me' and Mathew is like 'okay'.
We all find ourselves asking the savior the same thing, and when we don't watch ourselves we act like Simon. Such a great scene that shows us how we should act in both cases

I was born ina Christian family, but never really followed Jesus until my 19th year. That's when I really had an encouter with Jesus. Was at a club to celebrate a friend's birthday, when I heard the Lord say "Didn't I tell you to stop going to such places? (And yes, He did tell me before but I was too stubborn) Let Me show you why." The things I saw in the spirit... i can't even begin to tell, it would take me hours 😅 Long story short, I ran back home, straight to my room, locked the door, put on some worship music and started crying, asking Jesus to forgive me. Life changing experience 🙏 🤲 Then 38 years later, in March 2020, I turned around in my living room, and there was Our Lady.. Jesus's mother and my own mother, who had just been buried a few days earlier, appeared to me... both standing side by side, approx 3 or 4 feet off the floor. Mindblowing experience. JESUS appears on my dreams the night after i prayed guidance on my way to converting to Islam. I've prayed from my heart that I just want to know the truth and ask him to guide my decisions. I saw Him on my dream.... He was desceding from the clouds and I've heard a voice saying "Behold ! Your LORD; Your GOD" . And then Jesus appear to me . The peace and love and his glory left me speechless and i trembled on my knees humbled by His Glory. As he was approaching, His face and eyes is soo bright and He tapped my left shoulder with his right hand and he said "I have heard your prayers" . The peace and love and his glory left me speechless and left me in tears. Even after waking up that nigh , I can see my tears flowing and the love and peace I have experienced is still there.
God changed my life similarly to this. I was doing good with money, my dad would give me cars, and I always had a young beautiful lady by my side. I gave it all up to follow Jesus and He has transformed me and my family, I get to spend quality time with them, and I love my life now because I get to serve an AMAZING GOD, hallelujah God is good ❤🙌🏽

I thought it was fascinating that they portrayed Matthew as being on the autism spectrum. I'd never considered it before (it's a little difficult to tell these things through layers of translation) but it makes sense when i reread his book. This scene really resonates with me - even socially impaired people like Matthew can add value to a group and are deserving of Jesus' love.

I love "The Chosen" and how the script was written and acted out in a way that's relatable and understandable, even if it's more modern in language or dialect than they used in the time. The scenes draw me in like I'm there as a witness.

At the age of 19,I heard Jesus’ voice to’Follow’. I never thought for a second what would come- it was a knee jerk reaction. I was laughed at by every friend, but one. I’m 70 yrs old now. The chosen is unlike any other Jesus' film cus it doesn't focus only on the life of Jesus....It focuses on other people's lives before and after their interaction with Christ. It's a complete and broader version of Jesus' life and His ministry. The chosen is unmatched
Every time I watch the chosen, literally every time, I already know what happens but I still get goosebumps(the chills) and start crying and smiling at the same time 😂 I love it so much! It’s a feeling that lasts!!

JESUS appears on my dreams the night after i prayed guidance on my way to converting to Islam. I've prayed from my heart that I just want to know the truth and ask him to guide my decisions. I saw Him on my dream....
He was desceding from the clouds and I've heard a voice saying "Behold ! Your LORD; Your GOD" . And then Jesus appear to me . The peace and love and his glory left me speechless and i trembled on my knees humbled by His Glory. As he was approaching, His face and eyes is soo bright and He tapped my left shoulder with his right hand and he said "I have heard your prayers" . The peace and love and his glory left me speechless and left me in tears. Even after waking up that nigh , I can see my tears flowing and the love and peace I have experienced is still there.

God changed my life similarly to this. I was doing good with money, my dad would give me cars, and I always had a young beautiful lady by my side. I gave it all up to follow Jesus and He has transformed me and my family, I get to spend quality time with them, and I love my life now because I get to serve an AMAZING GOD, hallelujah God is good ❤🙌🏽

I thought it was fascinating that they portrayed Matthew as being on the autism spectrum. I'd never considered it before (it's a little difficult to tell these things through layers of translation) but it makes sense when i reread his book. This scene really resonates with me - even socially impaired people like Matthew can add value to a group and are deserving of Jesus' love.

I love "The Chosen" and how the script was written and acted out in a way that's relatable and understandable, even if it's more modern in language or dialect than they used in the time. The scenes draw me in like I'm there as a witness.

Back in May of 2015 I was miserable, and begged the Lord one night to take me Home…instead, He had something better in mind for me, and I am now a proud saved child of His, and couldn’t be happier. Yes, I still struggle with what brought me to the brink of suicide back then, but that struggle is far easier with Him and his Father at my side. Amen Hallelujah! 🙏🏻♥️
