Every time I hear Floor sing anything, and automatic smile just comes to the face. Always amazing to me, and I have listened to her relentlessly for almost 3 years now. She doesn't even have to try and she's got me.
This Woman Can Sing Anything Really ! She Has No Limits & That's Just Fact ! We All Know This Christmas Carol But Most of Us In The Western World Know it In English ! Yet When Floor Sings it We Still Know 👏👏😝👍 She is 1 of The Very Best Out There ! Just My Opinion ! Steve In Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🏄♂️🏖
Absolutely fantastic rendition. She is the supreme female vocalist of our time. And her reaction to 'fish' is exactly the same as mine. For more Christmas metal, consider "A Christmas Carol" album by Majestica, the other band of Sabaton guitarist Tommy Johansson. It is based on the story by Charles Dickens. Stay safe, God Bless, keep rocking.
I can speak Hungarian and it is considered one of the hardest languages and it’s beautiful and Finnish is a cousin to it. One day I want to learn Finnish. Floor just makes me smile inside and out. Love her.
Hi Floor was trying to learn Finnish but she hasn't done much since she's been in Sweden. I love the one she does pregnant. If you want watch Floor sing Ave Maria try 2019 and Marko gives Floor a thumbs up.
Beautiful 🌸 Beautiful 🌸 Floor 🌸 is AMAZING ✨ She has Also sung Ave Maria in 2020 with the accompaniment of Tommy Johansson from SABATON. Definitely worth listening to this. She really sings this in her Floor's style. ThanX You from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
This is an very difficult song, not every one can sing it correct yo need to have a great range but Floor has it all as we know. Tommy here are the lyrics special for only you: O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Savior's birth! Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn! Fall on your knees Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine Oh night divine Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming Here come the wise men from Orient land The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger In all our trials born to be our friend Truly He taught us to love one another His law is love and His gospel is peace Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother And in His name all oppression shall cease Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name
Finnish is one of the most difficult languages to learn. I have a lot of sympathy for people who move to Finland and they have to learn the Finnish language so that they can properly enter the working life. Funny thing about "Finnish sounds cool": JRR Tolkien took an interest in the Finnish mythology of the Kalevala, then became acquainted with Finnish, which he found to provide an aesthetically pleasing inspiration for his Quenya language.
I have been researching the Kalevala after I first listened to Amorphis (not in Finnish or course), but so far only the little that is available online. I have ordered the book but it hasn't arrived yet. What I have seen so far is awesome.
@@ValtteL So far, the few stories I have read are compelling. The Fate of Aino is heartbreaking. I also read that the Finnish band Turisas uses the Kalevala for their songs. I had listened to "Stand Up and Fight a few years ago and enjoyed it, now I am on a quest to discover more about them.
Yes, she can speak and sing in Finnish too, which is close to Elvish also 😉 So two languages in that point of view. Her Swedish is flaless, native level for sure 😊
In this year's Raskasta Joulua tour, they have performed a new version of the famous Walking in the Air, which Nightwish made familiar to Finns a long time ago. In the new version fabulous Elize Ryd as singer. Hope they record it.
Floor's made a few Christmas songs including solo. Floor sings in lots of different languages. Thanks guys your a fun lot to hang around with And Have an Amazing Christmas guys and God bless.
These Raskas Joulu sessions are epic. We have in Finland also Metal Mass in churches check out them. More Tarja please. Merry Christmas for everyone. HOH HOH HOO.
There is also a 2016 version sung by Floor when 6 months pregnant and it's equally as good. Just consider that there are 180,000 words in the English language and 800,000 in Finnish !!
Since your doing Christmas songs you simply have to check out Majestica (Tommy Johansson from Sabaton). They made a full album with metal Christmas songs and the whole album is simply amazing, you will kock yourselves for eternity if you don't check it out. The whole album is insanelogood but I would recommend : Ghost of Christmas Past, Ghost of Marley, The joy of Christmas. All three are so good you will never want to listen to any other Christmas songs again. Please, for your sake, check these out!!
This version is nice but ... the 2016 performance when Floor was pregnant just seems more joyous and lively. Perhaps it is that the crowd are closer to the stage and seem more involved? Have a look off camera if you like th-cam.com/video/ym1Wc5dmUYc/w-d-xo.html
She did this song in 2016 when she was 6 months pregnant, but even a 6 months pregnant is unstoppable on stage th-cam.com/video/ym1Wc5dmUYc/w-d-xo.html
She was a bit funny: I've been learning my finnish, but I'm sure you all know it a lot better.. so won't you help me and sing along.. And now, all with me * hits the high note breaking all wine glasses in the room * (me: okay, 😳 can i do it about 5 octaves lower? 😁 )
I prefer this version....they didn't have a distracting choir behind her in this version and the sound is better imo th-cam.com/video/ym1Wc5dmUYc/w-d-xo.html
There is no Christmas without Floor and that song 🤘🎅🤘!!!!
NWSU.
Every time I hear Floor sing anything, and automatic smile just comes to the face. Always amazing to me, and I have listened to her relentlessly for almost 3 years now. She doesn't even have to try and she's got me.
I don’t care that I don’t understand a single word. I can still feel it in my gut , in my soul. Her voice is unmatched.

Floor radiates warmth. She is a sweet soul.
That incredible talent just comes out, and She Makes it look Easy.
Thanks for this one!
Floor mentioned Ave Maria. That's a duet with her and Marko, so you know what to do...

Thank you Allen. Majestica is coming soon. No wonder they sound a bit like Sabaton. God bless.

I concur.

I love this, Floor is such an incredible singer. I really love her doing this song in 2016 when she was pregnant, she was beaming with happiness.
Heavy metal Christmas in Finland is BIG!! This is the reason - the rest of the Nordic countries could learn a lot about how to celebrate Christmas.
Hi Floor was trying to learn Finnish but she hasn't done much since she's been in Sweden. I love the one she does pregnant. If you want watch Floor sing Ave Maria try 2019 and Marko gives Floor a thumbs up.

Heavenly voice🙌🏻🤟🏻💪🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🔥
Nice that she sings in Finnish this classic song. Heavy version of it naturally ; )
They have a unique chemistry on stage - having so much fun

🇫🇮 ❤ you & Floor just makes everything better, just like Marco.
We all know her voice is stratospheric, but her presence alone can make all those(so called) "divas" hide under their beds and cry. She's magical.

As you say, Finnish is very unique and hard to learn but she speak very good Swedish.
🥰🥰🤩
You should have reacted to her version singing the same song when she was pregnant, and way more emotional - th-cam.com/video/ym1Wc5dmUYc/w-d-xo.html
Greetings Souls! Thank you for your reaction. You must also look for a hat for the "bogeyman". There would be a similar outfit. What do you say?❤
Why the surprise? It's just Floor Jansen doing Floor Jansen things 🤣🤣
Love Heavy Christmas!!! What a super tradition. Metal bands have families too and enjoy the holidays like everyone else. It's really cool.
