I love this movie, fortress and Blitzkrieg more than later movies you does. These have a good camera angles and noise actually feel like in war. Other movies have problem with, a lot of talking, game screen appearances and showing places actually not in contact during fighting.
Assault Squad is focused on multiplayer, it has lots of tweaks and is a bit more realistic and balaced in the multiplayer aspect compared to MoW and has many more multiplayer modes. It's singleplayer component consists of generic missions where you must conquer a number of flags from the AI that gives you reinforcements, it's pretty fun when played in coop mode. MoW has a larger selecetion of a varied and generally more fun missions.
fantastically strategized and executed! i think the british could have used more Anti tank guns and a bit less artillery, especially against those tigers
Something big though is that in MoW, you can't call in more troops in the campaign, or at least from what I've experienced. I honestly might be wrong because I've only play a couple levels from each faction's campaign. I mostly play in the editor.
MoW original is excellent and I still play it a bit. AS has slightly improved graphics and the A.I. seems better at times too. Some sounds effects are improved as well plus new maps.
Can you please send me the Epic Bridge Battle mission if you still have it? And would you recommand staying with vanilla MoW or buying AS for this kind of purpose? btw what is the music at the start? great video.
I could spend 25 hours scouring the internet for some sparse idea, but it's easier to ask you. What are the major differences between MoW and Assault Squad? Am I screwing myself by getting only the first game? I just wanna play with the custom mission editor and campaign mostly.

I understand that most German soldiers in WW2 weren't Nazis, but there had to have been a certain amount of people in the German Military who were. Not Nazis because they committed war crimes, but Nazis because they agreed with the Nazi Party and held the same ideals In any military you can find people who do and don't agree with their leading government. We shouldn't assume that every German soldier didn't agree
Iceland women had children with allied soldiers and they were "married" for a short time as was the case for every other allied or German occupied nation. Of course rape probably happened, it unfortunately seems to be common in war. It's very well documented that Iceland was neutral, but in general "cooperated" with the Allies throughout the war. The only reason Iceland was "invaded" was to keep the German forces from taking advantage of the neutral waters to keep their submarines and ships in.
Cause it makes a lot of sense for them to photograph the process of gassing... yeah alright. I don't think a soldier would be willing to chance it just to get what they would've considered pointless pictures. Plus a soldier with a gas mask kind of would give it away to the ones getting gassed wouldn't it? And you still haven't provided any feasible evidence that you are correct.
so many unnecessary losses you suffered. maybe going in with artillery 1st and not rushing up the center would have helped. nice video and cool uploads. keep it going !!

As I said before, I have no doubt that things like murder, rape, and fights occurred in an occupied country. Obviously the citizens were against the occupation and disliked the Allied soldiers. Probably because Iceland was pro-Nazi at the time. I'm sure the soldiers knew of this and decided to act like, well soldiers, and fight. Some took it way too far.
This battle should have been computer player only not you then the allies would have won....and the main assault would have had all them troops not just a few at a time......main assaults have almost every unit in them but the recon.....the allies should of had a med tank or 2 at each front defense it's not to fair if you have them with out some tanks......other tank that good vid

get Original MoW. its excellent. AS its like Original MoW. just the graphics are a little changed and there are new maps and guns, tanks, artilleries......... and the change that is annoying me is that there arent campaigns but there is only a SKIRMISH.

one of the best men of war videos i hav ever seen....very close to reality....but ther wer a few problms....for example...why wer ther panzer iii tanks advancing wit tigers panthers stugs and wat not...the panzer iii was phased out in 1943 and was terribly obsolete by that time...and ther werent any king tigers around in 1943....so that wasnt historically accurate.....and the german rockets show up only at the end....and no other german artillery was on the field at the time of attack....any german attack in ww2 always featured a lot of artillery and rockets....tis made initial german attacks look a bit foolish....but that aside...it was really great to see the allies put up a tremendous fight.....and the germans improvising at the end wit tat captured artillery piece....both sides did really well....ther shud be more videos like this....
