AKA the Boker Skeksis (think Dark Crystal) - now also being sold by Cobra Tec as their Wolverine model ("assembled in the US" and costing $60... uh huh). I picked one of these up about 4 months ago as a gift for my nephew. I paid $18 for the green micarta/PVD version and was extremely impressed. He absolutely loves it and has been carrying it daily. For the price, these are a steal for sure, thanks for raising awareness.
I ordered a Civivi Mini Praxis for my wood shop and then found this Guardian Eagle Odysseus. I then ordered one for my wood shop and returned the Mini Praxis. This is so much better. I then ordered one for EDC. I am so happy with it. Some say at is great for the price. I say it is great period!
Small correction, it's not a hollow grind it's a flat grind. I picked this knife up on the same sale, the same color variation as you and I'm blown away by it. I think this is a knife that's going to increase in price over time and we just happen to get in while it's really affordable. I left an Amazon review, I think it's easily worth $40 or more. It gets a lot of the little details right like recessed screws on the pocket clip and on the clip itself, the g10 is very grippy, the colored pivot collar is a nice touch and it has a very functional jimping on that harpoon shaped blade. The action is quite good and better than a lot of knives in my collection. Mine came with a perfectly centered blade and really snappy detent. If I had to nitpick, I wish they would have milled out some of the steel liners on the inside for weight reduction. That would have also helped with balancing the knife. This is an incredible buy though and not many people are talking about it which is kind of annoying so thank you for posting something!
@@DrewDragoon you’re right, I overlooked that on the grind! It is truly an amazing knife for its price and I sure do hope to see more from them. If it’s popularity gains, I can imagine it’s price will too. Thanks for checking out my review and your comments!
I just got this for xmas and I have microtech, spyderco, Allan folts customs Benchmade but for the money this is a absolute great knife. Well made, quality steel. D-2 tool steel top be exact. I'm super impressed. $20.00 bucks. I can shave with this.
